Shari's

This is the second visit to this restaurant and both times the experience has not been of very good quality. This is the poorest Shari's establishment we have attended yet it is the closet to our home. Food is usually always cold or not cooked correctly. We believe that the cooks nor the people working there enjoy their jobs and it shows in the personal approach of the employees.

Our server, Ken, was uninterested in the issues we had. I was served the wrong amount of pancakes and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. My date never received the milkshake he ordered and when we brought this to the servers attention, he then served him a melted milkshake that had obviously been made twenty minutes ago. Highly unstatisfied with Ken!!

Everything on plate was Luke warm. Hashbrowns undercooked. Milkshake running no pie crust chunks

1. ordered pie as meal, waitress asked if I wanted it warmed or not, indicated warmed. Received cold. Had to flag her down and ask for it to be heated. When she brought it back, it was STEAMING hot, as in scary, over microwaved hot. Mouth burn hot-fruit pie. She did bring a replacement piece for me to take home, but I no longer wanted it. 2. Waitress never returned for drink refills, we were there for over an hour with no refills offered. 3. Waitress was not attentive what-so-ever. 4. Son wanted to order dessert (he had full meal) and waitress had to be flagged down for that too. 5. Waitress shuffled her feet like they each weighed 400 lbs, not service issue, but really made her appear to be lazy (which after experiencing lack of service, it is apparent that she is. 6. Son ordered sirloin dinner. "Steak" was 1 inch wide and 5 inches long. Not a steak at all, more like a chicken strip. Absolutely ridiculous piece of meat for what Shari's is charging. I was certainly not expecting steak house quality, but this was utterly ridiculous. Your cook/manager (whoever ok'd that meat) should be wholeheartedly ashamed for letting that go out.

We had waited about an hour for part of our food then waited another 15 minutes for the rest. We went straight home from our visit to your restaurant we all 3 were very sick with food poisoning. We will be notifying the Heath department about your restaurant. When we paid for our food you could see in the kitchen how dirty it was and you could see all the food that was just left sitting out on the preparation area. I have a degree as a chef and restaurant hospitality and you are not to leave uncooked and half cooked foods sitting out. Your place of business was not busy and your kitchen staff was not in the kitchen at all. There is no reason for this lack of cleanliness and to make your customers sick.

Waitress Vanessa, extremely grumpy. Didn't smile or seem to like her job whatsoever. Was irritated that we were waiting for another person then avoided to take our order when our third person showed up. Very rude. I asked for ranch when I ordered my fries and it wasnt brought with the order so I asked if I could get some and she looked at my friends plate who was already eating hers and said "well are you going to use your ranch? " and started to reach to grab off her plate and my friend said "yes I am" and she rolled her eyes and went and got me some. Coming from someone who's in customer service I was highly disappointed and this attitude would never be tolerated at my job. I am a regular customer at this restaurant and usually love it but wasn't happy with service today at all.

There were NO Greetings from either the guy that seated us nor the waitress, Totally Rude. What can I get you was all we got out of the waitress. Never checked back while we were eating, brought our check, and that was it. You could tell this crew did not like working, maybe it was the holiday . We ate there a couple of months earlier and also had a unpleasant waitress, that made a rude comment about our granddaughter, and little kids. And the thing was our granddaughter was being really nice. Looks like a unhappy place to work. The food was great. Service gets a F-.

The service was terrible, it took 20 minutes to have our order taken. The food portions were undersized. Everything was overcooked. We paid too much for the amount of food we got. Won't return again.

Waitress was argumentative as to what we ordered even though it was clearly saying what we were to receive on the menu. She was rude and in a hurry . When she brought our meals, she slammed them down and walked off saying that there was nothing difficult about this meal. She never returned to our table and just left our checks on the table without a word and walked off. She never checked on us to see about refills, if everything was okay or if we would like dessert. Since our food was cold and we couldn't talk to anyone, we decided to get boxes and there was no one to even get a box, so we flagged down a waitress and she was none to happy to help us as we were not one of her tables. Checking out, my friend Jeanne did not get her receipt back so she could not do the survey. We were so disappointed that us two widows could not even be honor on Mother's Day. One of us was given a gift to go out to dinner for Mother's day and felt this was a dishonor to the gift giver. We will both think long and hard before we return for a meal

I am in the culinary arts program and the manager or someone in charge was rude after he found out that I was in school he said that schooling does not reach how to be on a line and places in Spokane won't higher people with a culinary degree. I tried to explain to him that we have our own restaurant hat we are learn to be on the line and he was still rude and disrespectful to me his guest. That same person was talking to other people rather than paying attention to my father in law was ready to pay the bill
