We normally eat at the Berry Hill Sharis for either breakfast or lunch as it is difficult for us to drive after dark. When our grand kids are with us at dinner time we usually take them out to eat. It was unusual for this to happen twice in one month and both times this month we had Kiera as our server. We had never seen her before. It was nice that she remembered us and gave us a warm welcome back. Tending to young children in a restaurant can be rather daunting and our grand kids can be quite rambunctious. Special request and split meals were met with enthusiasm and warmth. The grand kids noted that Sharis was their favorite restaurant. Likely, the great service and friendliness of Kira made the difference. Thank you Kiera. On our way out an unfamiliar and smiling employee made a a point of introducing herself and asked if everything was satisfactory. She gave us her name (lost from my memory bank) and noted that she was a new manager formerly from Troutdale. Wow, it was so nice to meet such nice folks. Sure makes eating more than having a great meal....it reinforces how important it is to meet such wonderful folks!
