Shari's

It was alright. Not bad. It was better than others I've been to.

It was a Wednesday which is free pie day. The restaurant was really busy. Maybe more staff could be scheduled on Wednesdays to account for the heavier volume of customers. This would allow for the tables to be cleared more quickly and customers could be seated faster.

Took awhile to be seated, although they were really busy. Ordered a chopped salad and got a cob salad, ordered balsalmic dressing and got blue cheese. It was slow in coming, so just ate what they brought without saying anything. The cobb salad was good anyway so I wasn't unhappy. We were done and waited for the check which never came so finally went to the cash register and told the person who came to wait on us which table we were at and she rang us up. Luckily we weren't in a big hurry so I wasn't too worried about the service, but it was a little on the slow side.

Breakfast steak was overcookd, but the omelet was very good.

I 'm usually highly satisfied when I visit Shari's. However, I visited Shari's on a Sunday evening around 6 pm. The restaurant was not very busy. Based on this fact, I felt the service should have been quicker.

My wife ordered a piece of pie with her order and said she would like to take it home. It was the smallest piece we had ever seen. When we complained we were told it was right! It was NOT we have ordered before!

The only reason we weren't highly satisfied was the seating location. It was next to the kitchen and there were times the loud crashing of dishes and other prep going on stopped our conversation with each other because we couldn't hear one another.

It was just an average experience. Prices are a bit high

We made special arrangements to go to Shari's today because it was "free pie" day. However, I didn't pay attention to the time and we ordered our meal a half hour too early (3:30 instead of 4:00). So I was disappointed when we didn't get our pie. My fault!

Entree size not as large as in the past. Also, went intending to order from the new seafood menu, but was disappointed with the scarcity of seafood on the menu and entrees. However, our server was fantastic in terms of his attention to our table and menu knowledge. Highly recommend him to management.
