Shari's

As I stated, I ordered the chicken/berry salad. It arrived without any berries and no dressing. The waiter brought the berries later but when I said that there was no dressing on the salad, he thought that there was. Berries were blackberries/blueberries. Picture showed strawberries/blueberries. I showed the waiter again later - by picking up my dry lettuce greens that there was no dressing. He offered to bring another salad but we had a play to see and had no time. We requested lemon wedges that were not brought and had to get up and go get the waiter to bring them. Had to get the waiter also to bring water as all the glasses were empty. They did take $3 off of my bill but I left the restaurant hungry because the salad was mostly dry greens. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Ate at Shari's inTigard week b4. VERY pleased. Not so with Oregon City. Chicken barely made it to my "chicken" berry salad. Advertised pie NO longer available. Good thing pie was free-pretty smaill pieces. Not my experience in Tigard last week. Not asked to join club-I was going to until we checked out-another wait.

It took much too long to receive our drinks, have our order taken, and receive our food. One order was incorrect, and one of five plates took even longer to be received. When we paid our bill, my coworkers and I paid for our meals separately. The person who received our payment was extremely unfriendly and not happy about having us pay separately. She called to a coworker, as she was processing my payment, "Tell Heather how to split a check."

The staff acted as if we did not exist for the most part. The waitress was nice enough when placing our order and when she brought it out but not once did anyone come back and ask if we needed anything. My daughter asked for no bacon on her stuffed hash browns and breakfast sandwich and the cook put it on both. My stuffed hash browns were good but, as always, my eggs are never cooked the way I ask, the bacon was nasty and to actually put butter on the toast would be a novel idea.

It was horrible service. There was only one other table with customers, on the side we sat on, and we never had our water refills or coffee refilled. We had to ask for coffee as we weren't asked what we would like to drink. Plus we did not receive the pot of coffee on the side that we usually get. Our drinks were never topped off. Our waitress asked the table next to us how they were doing serval times where we were never asked once. Literally. Most the time we wondered where our waitress was as everything took twice as long to get done.

It was hard to believe since we were AFTER 9am we couldn't choose the breakfast choice (whatever it was called) but we could order eggs and hashbrowns as 'sides' and had to pay $2 more for less food. ALSO, I asked for over medium and my egg was hardly done at all AND the hashbrowns were almost burned tasting. This did all get replaced quickly though but I had to go find a waitress to state my problem

I placed a to-go order via the website. The eggs benedict did not come with hollandaise sauce - a rather major component of a benedict! Also, I paid an up charge for stuffed hash browns but only received the standard potatoes. When I called the restaurant to let them know, they were apologetic and offered to provide the items. However, I chose not to drive back. Normally, I think that would be acceptable. Mistakes happen. However, with two mistakes made and one involving an up-charge, I would have offered to reversed the up-charge or offered to send a coupon (e.g. piece of pie) for thr next visit.

The Shari's cinnamon french toast was served barely warm - had it reheated in a microwave and it was very dry. The bread used for sandwiches was dry and the crust of the bread was hard. Once the food was served the waitress did not come back to see if we needed anything more. In fact, my husband had to take the french to a server to get it heated up. Water was not automatically served at our table, needed to ask for it.

It was later in the day and the potatoes were gummy, the stuffing was not warm.

My wife and I went to Shari's for their Christmas day special. They were busy, but no more than usual. We waited nearly 10 minutes for a server to get our drinks and take our order. When the food came, it was stone cold. We called this to our servers attention and she took our plates back to the kitchen, but we could see she was very unhappy about it. The food portions we recieved were sparce to say the least. Perhaps it is because we went a little later in the day and they were running out and trying to stretch their supplies. In any even, what we hoped would be a relaxing holiday meal out was anything but!
