Shari's

When paying for meal, cashier kept stopping our transaction to talk to a waitress about where something was. I do not like the waitress to stick her arm in front of me, start to clear the table and then ask if she can remove the plates. I was not even through eating. I resent having to stop my conversation to wait for the waitress to clear the table. Then she comes back and asks us to hand her the plastic box so she can put pencils in it. Really? That should wait until we have left the table.

ORDERED A MEAT LOVERS SKILLET - IT WAS SERVED ON A PLATE . THE VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF MEAT LOOKED LIKE IT CAME FROM THE GRILL SCRAPING TRAY ,--BURNT--VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF HASH BROWNS . THE EGGS WERE COOKED AS ORDERED . I USUALLY EAT AT THE WOODBURN OR. SHARIS .--MUCH BETTER FOOD-- AND SERVED IN A SKILLET . MY WIFE WAS A WAITRESS FOR OVER 20 YEARS . SHE KNOWS TO LOOK AT THE FOOD SHE IS SERVING. SHE SAID NOT TO MAKE A FUSS . WE DID NOT TIP THE WAITRESS .-- WE WONT BE BACK--

This is the second time in a row we had horrific service. The staff seems to be different from the ones we are used to. The food took a long time to come. The waitress kept forgetting to brain is what we asked for including silverware, ketchup, jelly, sugars, and even our sons meal!

it took a long time until i could pay. although there is a 2nd check out, it took at least 10-15 minutes until a second person arrived and continued the first person's job checking out.

The chicken for my salad was overcooked and burnt, spreading ash all over the plate. The appetizer platter was undercooked, the fries were bland and unsalted, the cheese on the inside of the mozzarella sticks wasn't even melted, chicken strips were bland and not even crispy in the slightest. These were both out of buffalo hot sauce and ranch, and the barbecue substitute sauce for the wings was sub-par, tasted like ketchup. The wings were also cold. Also we never got offered refills on our waters and there's a piece of plastic(?) on the bottom of one of the glasses.

When we first arrived half the restaurant was empty and we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. We then had to wait 10 minutes just for 2 mimosas which we were card 3 times!!! by 3 different people. I understand its regulation to check IDs but from 3 different people ?! absolutely ridiculous. We waited and waited 30 minutes before receiving our food which I had to send mine back because my whole plate was cold. My chicken fried steak was luke warm and my eggs were undercooked and my hashbrowns were cold and not stuffed like I asked. I than had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my food the second time as my husband was already done eating. I asked up front for a discount or to have my meal taken off and he chose to only give me 3 dollars off. My bill was a combined total of over $50.00 and I was extremely upset since I was trying to have a great birthday breakfast.

Wait time to receive food was 55 minutes. Food was barely warm. Missing bread from one order and received after meal was almost eaten. Restaurant seemed to be chaotic with no one in charge. This wasn't the first experience like this at this Shari's. It has been a place we go to and the service has been good up until the last 3 months. Change in management seems to be the key problem.

Tahna is always rude when I come in. She was super short with everything I said. I ordered my burger with no onions and I got it with onions and it tasted burnt when I told her she was super rude took it back and told the cook to remake it with no onions and didn’t mention the fact that it tasted burnt to him. Also when we tried to get her attention to fix it she rudely snapped yeah I’ll be there in a second. When I went to pay I didn’t leave a tip due to the rudeness of my service and when she saw it she got mad and slammed the cash drawer closed and gave me a dirty look when I said thank you.

When our food arrived, we did not receive a 2nd plate for our childrens food(our 1 yr old and 2 yr old shared the kids burger meal) The food was dropped off but no one asked if we needed anything else. After waiting for about 5 min I finally got up & walked over to the serving station & procured myself a ketchup bottle & hot sauce. We had to ask several times for water refills. When our party of 7 finished our meal & cashed out, there were 2 servers at the cash register, one left to seat a couple & I do not know where the other server went. I watched our server seat the couple then return to the serving station & bustle around. After several minutes passed a group came in behind us, she finally came to ring us out. She did not ask how things were, offer a pie(which I was going to grab because my mother in law asked me to) she did not ask for my sharis rewards card, & she did not speak one word after she said my total. No thank you, absolutely nothing. She was exceptionally rude.

Food was not as specified in the menu. One example, no bacon was specified for my salad and yet bacon came in the salad. I don't eat meat so I spent my time picking bacon out of the salad. My wife's chicken dish came with very overcooked and dry chicken. As usual Shari's pie crusts are mediocre at best. The sweet potato fries were dry and looked as if they had been refried several times. Overall we were not pleased with the meals we ordered and will probably not return to Shari's in the near future.
