Shari's

I was with a handicapped women and they tried to seat us at the farthest and smallest table. Then it was 20 minutes before anyone came to talk to us about our order. It took another 30 mins to get our food. Our server never came back to see if we wanted anything else or refill our drinks. After finishing our meal we waited 20 more minutes for our check it never came so I went to the desk and they tried charging me $15 to much. And after all this we were never offered our free pie for free pie Wednesday.

First, we were seated and our drink order was taken by the person who sat us. Then after we got our drinks, the lady said I will go get your server. That server never came. We waited about 10-15 min then my wife went up and asked the person at the front who seated us if she can get our waitress. Finally a few min later the waitress came. I ordered a steak with the eggs and hash-browns. The steak was just a typical sharis steak. Nothing like in the pictures on the menu. My wife ordered a soup with her meal. That never came out so she told the waitress that she never got her soup. The waitress then brought it after she had already received her meal. The soup smelled and tasted really bad. If it was made with milk, that explains it. My kids both ordered chocolate milk and my 5 yr old noticed it tasted funny. My wife tasted it and it was definitely spoiled. My wife's pot roast came out warm, not hot. This was just a very bad experience. We enjoy going to shari's but some are good some are bad. The Shari's in Happy Valley is the same way. We never went there again after a bad experience. Gresham is good. We will try the one on Mcloughlin next time. Will not be coming back here again.

I've had poor service at Sharis before, but I'm not one to complain.. This was maybe the worst Sharis experience ever! I know it was free pie night, but it was not that busy, as even the manager expressed. We waited a long time to take our order. The food service was really slow. Our salads did not arrive. When the food came, we asked for our salads, which were delivered then. I had also asked for coffee, which was never provided.. (not charged) When the food came, it was only mildly warm. We waited to place our pie order and receive our check, but finally had to flag down another waitress. (This was not her table..) We had to ask for our pie to be packaged to go since by now we needed to leave, which she reasonably did, although trying to serve her tables too... She also brought our check... Our waitress was MIA most of the experience... I don't know what was going on, but part of the time she was outside, as I saw her return with her coat on. If she was on a break, or other issues, no one was assigned to cover for her. Not sure if we will be returning any time soon.. Some other members of our family refuse to go to Sharis due to the poor service.

My wife and I went to Shari's for breakfast before church and I ordered a Sausage and mushroom omelet no toast or hash browns and my wife ordered a Spring Spinach omelet with fruit instead of hash browns and toast. When we received our order (which sat at the window for over 5 minutes before it was retrieved), we both had Spring Spinach omelets with fruit. When I spoke to the waitress Janice, she stated that she thought we both said a Spring Spinach Omelet and did not seem concerned that she got the order wrong. We gave ourselves enough time to eat and get to church and due to the incorrect order I did not have time to eat. Even though the order was wrong, I was still charged for the omelet that I finally received as a to go order and due to events that we had to attend, I was not able to finally sit down and eat the omelet until late afternoon.

Got home food was dried out. Bread wasn't right.wasnt toasted hardly. They were grilled onions and I don't like grilled onions. They generally ask if I want them. Sandwich was overcooked meat and bread both dry. On all 3 sandwiches. Rude night manager. When I asked her name SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I HAD S FRIEND CALL SOMEONE ELSE ANSWERED AND GAVE THE NAME OF KASHMIRA.

I go to Shari's for the FOOD!! The 2 primary reasons that kept me coming back to Shari's does NOT exist anymore. The malted waffle and the hubbard squash soup RECEIPES have changed over the last year. Regardless of what I have been told, the receipes are not the same as they were 2 years ago. But I kept struggling to believe the servers and manager, however, you are all delusional if you think that you can fool me. And NO, my tastes have NOT changed. I can go to Elmer's and have my 2 favorite meals there and they taste the same. YOU changed your receipes for the waffles and squash soup. I won't be coming back and I won't talk good about Shari's in that your staff is stupid to not taste the flavor and consistancy change or else they are liars. I don't want to be lied to or be sold something that the staff doesn't even recognize.

The hostess was very disorganized and kept saying, " I'm so, so, so, sorry," to everyone. Insufficient waitresses to adequately serve the customers. The food arrived cold and unattractively slopped on the plate with the vegetables served on top of the french fries, causing a soggy, unappealing mess. When we said somethig to the waitress she just laughed. The floor under our table was littered with crackers and other debris from the previous guests. Thanks for letting us share our experience.

both my husband and myself received a baked potato that was too cold to melt butter, both our steaks were cool and burnt. We sent both plates back and received baked potato only warm enough to melt the butter, but not as hot as we would have liked it. The steaks were warm but not as hot as they should have been. Steak was also very crispy. We asked for medium well steaks mine was well done on the outer and rare inside. Husbands steak was well done and chewy. Waitress only came to the table when we called her. We will never go back to that Sheri's again.

I ORDERED A TRIO...1/2 TURKEY SANDWICH ON CIABATTIA BREAD AND A CUP OF LOADED POTATO SOUP AND A SLICE OF PIE FOR $8.99 THE BREAD WAS SO STALE I COULD NOT TAKE A BITE OUT OF IT AND BOTH THE LETTUCE AND TOMATO WERE LIMP...I JUST ATE THE 3 PIECES OF TURKEY. THE SOUP WAS COLD AND THE CHEESE DIDN'T EVEN MELT COMPLETELY. THE PIE WAS DELICIOUS!

The service was slow and horrible. Restaurant was mostly empty and it took ten minutes to be seated and the service from there went down hill. After the food took a long time to show up it was cold and prepared wrong. We had to get up and get our own condiments as the server was not checking on us or even looking over our way to see that our drinks where empty. This is not the first time to have service like this at this location and is most likely the last time we will visit.
