Food was ok not great. Small portion sizes. Service was great!

Once seated, our waitress, Laurie, was completely inattentive to our table. We had mentioned we had another person the way, but we still wished to order. We placed our drink order no problem and received our drinks. Then were completely ignored for at least 20 minutes. I will say that the restaurant was busy... but somehow she managed to check on every table but ours. She also managed to seat, serve drinks, and take the order of a large 8-10 top that came in about 10 minutes after we had arrived. During that time, our other guest also came in. Laurie noticed, made eye contact and continued to completely ignore us. I had to get up and go to the server station in order to get her attention. She then snapped at me and told me it was extremely busy and she'd get to me in a minute and I needed to go sit down at my table. This completely rubbed me the wrong way and when she finally appeared, I politely requested another server. She immediately took offense and argued with me. I continued to politely state my position of wanting another server. She then flung around her hands angrily and stomped away saying "FINE!". The replacement waitress, Kendra, was amazing, attentive, and polite.

The staff were not helpful, had to wait more than 30 mins for even a drink because the cook was " on break". Waitress would not take order for another 20 mins, never did a refill on my drink. When I was done eating I had to chase waitress down for the check

Too long to be greeted and sat. Long time for order to be taken. Over 20 minutes for order to be delivered. Long time for them to check back and deliver check/receipt. Other Shari's hit a higher standard like Springfield Gateway.

I bought a slice of pie that had a piece of gum in it. Was not to happy with that.

Susan was at the front of the restaurant. When I walked in she said she would be with me in a minute. Normal for a restaurant so no problem. However, I sat and waited with my two children for nearly 10 minutes while she assisted one customer exiting (no problem) then attended to a customer who entered after me ( doing a to go order). She then went and was attending empty tables and answering a phone call. I attempted to get someones attention and Scott and katelyn were readily available to seat my children and myself. After being seated and ordering both Scott and katelyn continued checking on us and treated us in the way that I have known other employees of this location to treat us. If it were not for those two employees my distaste for Susan would have made me exit the restaurant without returning again.

Server: brought coffee instead of hot chocolate; offered refill of tea instead of cola; ran the bottom of one plate into the food on another plate without offering new food for bottom plate or cleaning top plate off before placing it on table; 'over medium' egg was undercooked and runny; sloppily & incompletely wiped off table when pointed out that food (gravy) on bottom of plate made mess; more.

Honestly, everything was great except the food. I was just not impressed. The eggs and hashbrowns just had no flavor, nothing memorable. The cinnamon-sation roll was overcooked and didn't have its normal melt in the mouth flavor and consistency. I normally love the food and employees. But the food was just not right.
