Too long to get food

For having spent almost $50 I feel that the server we had should have been working not standing around, maybe pay more attention to your guest Julius

After dining, I remembered why I quit going into this store several years ago. The hashwhites were a bit over crispy and basically cooked on one side not very warm and tasted like they had sat on the grill for a while, server wanted to correct the issue but I waved it off because of time issues and the whole meal would have to be recooked. I also think it is rather crass and hygienically questionable for some one in food service to be wearing a ring on every finger.

New menu is a mess with many of the good things removed. Sunrise breakfast menu gone, honor menu lacking, many of the regulars that breakfast here have left. If something isn't done we will discontinue coming to any Sharis Restaurants. The only thing keeping us here now is the staff whom we have known for years.

The restaurant smelled very very strongly of chlorine bleach. Presumably, as a result of the contractors cleaning the roof. Where I was sitting there was a little sworn of about 5-6 flies. Not very appetizing. Cinnamon roll came barely warm, cold in some spots.

we had the Senior Serloin Steak as we normally do. Although the FLAVOR was very good it was tough and very chewie. Our puppies will enjoy more than half of each. Other than that we are always pleased with Sharis and eat there often.

Quality seems to really be declining.

Three steaks not cooked to way they were ordered. One had too much grissel, had a gray color to it. Could not talk to Manager due to her cooking food at the time. Server was very polite and offered apology for food not being cooked the way we wanted. Very helpful with spilled drink and cleaned it up quickly.

I have enjoyed Shari's soups in the past. Tonight I ordered the only choice available, salmon chowder. It was served absolutely cold in a tiny paper bowl. I was instantly suspicious that the soup is already in the tiny paper bowl and just gets microwaved and served. I sent the cold one back and got a hot one. Seriously, it was watery, had one chunk of celery and three chunks of potato and NOTHING ELSE! And the price was $3.69 which isn't a ton of money but is definately the worst food value I've encountered. Shame on Shari's!! And as we left, my husband asked at the checkout if there were any toothpicks. Three people put on a wild goose chase and came up with zero toothpicks...in a restaurant! I don't fill these things out, but tonight was just too ridiculous to overlook.
