Wife and i ordered our food .. Just Mozz sticks and a sandwich and 30 min later they had asked us 5x what we were waiting on .. We told them everytime .. And they said they would speak to manager and when they did manager and employee got smiles on their faces and neglected our food anyways .. Another 10 min go by and another employee asks what were waiting for .. (Not if we need help) to which we heard the employee tell said cook to atleast put the mozz sticks in .. This is 35 -40 min .. And they havent even begun to do our food .. So i went to counter and asked for my $17 dollars back .. With no reply just a grin on his face he gave me my money back .. But still other people that came in long after us were getting their food .. Complete and utter BS ..

Soup of day Loaded Baked Potato. Out at 2:15pm. Offered Clam chowder, accepted. Did not receive until we were finished with sandwich and salads. Told CC was not ready at time of order and server did not return to table to advise that was the case. Turned it down when it finally arrived. Have eaten at this and other Shari's many times and have only had one other bad experience. It is usually our restaurant of choice when eating lunch out.

The food (Mexi Skillet) was yuccky. The eggs were gray and what might've been sausage tasted bad. I expected something similar to what we get at Denny's but Denny's is much better. We should've driven the extra 4 miles.

The restaurant was not overly busy. We stood at the front waiting to be seated for unusually long time before anyone even said they would be "right" with us - and several ladies walked by us and looked without saying anything. The service was EXTREMELY slow and after our order was finally taken 2 out of 3 of our meals came incorrectly (bacon instead of sausage, fries instead of fruit). No drink refills were ever offered. We had to go track down someone for boxes to go and our check. We knew we weren't heading out to a fine dining restaurant but even with that, we were extremely disappointed.

There appeared to be only two waitresses working. It took at least five minutes to be seated. They kept saying 'be with you in a minute' and then run on by and tend to something else. The restaurant had very few patrons and the ladies were working hard, but it was still slow. I find this true at a lot of Shari's. Not enough help. We have crossed three off our list because of this. We are nought we had found a good one here, but today was a setback.

The Assistant Manager, Susan, took her time finishing up with a customer (this was not an issue) while we stood and waited for several minutes (again, this wasn't a problem). It would have been nice to hear "I'll be right with you" or something similar, but hostess etiquette is obviously not a priority. After we were seated the it took the waitress "Ami" a full 25 minutes to take our order. I would understand if she would have been busy but she was only dealing with 3 to 4 tables. When she finally did come over I asked if the order would take longer than 30 minutes to be brought to us because if it were we didn't want to wait. She said there was only three orders in front of us. The onion rings we ordered came 20 minutes later and the main meals came 15 minutes after that. All told it was over 1 hour to receive our food. I even had to flag "Ami" down to get our check. I have never complained about a restaurant before but this was ridiculous and if it is really too bad because the restaurant in Milwaukee has always provided excellent service. Maybe you should talk with Susan the assistant manager and definitely to Ami.

The (I believe?) manager openly argued with our waitress over what he thought our order was. He talked over her and assumed our order was one way but she finally had to assert herself and present our correct order. both of these things caused my food to be cold. It was an unpleasant experience all around. We were sat clustered with two other tables when the whole restaurant was practically empty or at the very least plenty of alternative seating choices. One pair of guests hadn't showered in ages and were expressing their bodily functions loudly. Nobody thought to politely isolate them. There were several flies in the restaurant and the tables and condiment trays were sticky. Our waitress took forever to fill our drinks. This was excusable as she legitimately looked busy. Our food was in no way presentable. The plates just looked sad. No garnish and they were disorganized. There were fries on top of strips and mini dogs. Hash brown looked like it was tossed in rather than laid down. Oh!!! My daughter ordered the mini dogs off the kid's menu. They were burned a dark brown and three were missing batter on one side!!!! Were they the last ines at the bottom of the bag or what?!?

Filthy, disgusting bathroom!!! I worked in restaurants long enough to know, that if the bathroom looks like that, the kitchen is the same.

Advertised Pie unavailable according to waiter. found out there was plenty. waiter didn't know to ask if soup or salad for dinner order. cashier made the pie order right. Still upset and visit this Shari's regularly. going to rethink that.

I eat the rustic chicken salad at least once each week. It has been on the whole, excellent. This time...the chicken was not hot; or seasoned; or even grilled. The lettuce was limp and the quantity inadequate for the amount of toppings; the onions chopped into tiny pieces and not crisp;
