It's the noise level being generated by the staff. Talking together loudly at the front by the pie area. But worse is the carelessness of literally throwing the dishes, cups, and flatware in the collection bins. You cannot have a normal conversation without being hit in the ears by all this noise. If you were my guest at my home I would not dare put that on you and expect you to suck it up, same goes for the music on the PA system. The Sherri's on Beavercreek I stopped going to, McLoughlin location is next.

The food was good, the waitress was nice, but the manager doesn't have very good people skills. I brought up two issues with her, and she wasn't very willing to resolve them. One was the nuts on the soup, which was not listed on the menu. She argued that people with allergies would tell the waitress up front. That is not true. My husband is very allergic to nuts, but he usually orders based on what the menu items say, unless there is some ambiguity. I don't know of anyone that would be expecting nuts in broccoli cheese soup. Then she argued with me over a freebie I was supposed to get. The receipt said "good any time". She said that meant "time of day". I took it to mean any time, since there was no expiration date. Anyway, I didn't like her attitude.

Laurie G. was great! I've been to that Shari's a few times and it seems like she is always there in the morning. She has a great personality and I see how she connects with the other patrons at the restaurant. She is very attentive to each person and likes her job. The food at that Shari's is very consistent too. Really enjoy going there.

Place was not busy but it took 10 minutes to be seated. After being seated for over 30 minutes, the waitress (Rachel) came over and said our order should be up soon...she didn't remember that she HAD NOT taken our order yet. The family seated next to us also had a problem with their order.

With the facility about half full, once we were seated, it took about 10 minutes to get water. We finally gave our order, and it took until the time our food was brought out to get the three sodas and one hot chocolate that were ordered. The food that was brought out was all over cooked and cold except for one order. After the food was brought out, the server never came back to check to see if the endless pancakes needed refilled or any drinks needed filled until after we stacked a tower of plates and glasses to try to get some needed attention. We have eaten at this Sharis before, and never had such poor service and food. When we explained to the waiter our issues and why the pile of plates and glasses, he responded like he didn't realize he was our waiter and should have been checking on us more often.

I work in the area and eat at Shari’s almost seven days a week. This waitress (401080 Tiana) is one of the best people Shari’s could employ. When they see me, I have a table, coffee, and they know from the time of day, what range of food I will order. I can’t get this try of service at any other place, their good. And yes I have gotten pies from them.

On Thanksgiving we had a wonderful special meal. We went back for the New Year's Eve special and it was terrible - service totally sucked, meat was very tough, onion rings were late and very burnt, pie was very good. Based on other very recent Yelp reviews I don't know why management keeps this location open. It needs a complete update starting with server training and new cooks.

There were just a few customers in restaurant while I was there. I ordered and it took longer than usual but that's probably why is was served LUKE WARM... IF THAT! Hash browns were the same...cool; and I ordered dry rye toast and it came soggy. Also, men's restroom was disgusting. Usually Shari's is very reliable which is why I've gone to Shari's since the late 1970"s. I've had it happen there before but not for quite some time. There is no excuse for the lack of food quality or lack of restroom sanitation.
