Slow service

I watch and observe how things operate. Though I am an employee of Shari's, when I am not on the clock and I choose to eat, I deserve the same speedy service that other patrons receive. I sat myself at the front counter and waited to be served as a any customer would be. I think the issue was familiarity with me being an employee. Rosie is an outstanding server. I am not sure who was responsible for the counter that day, but she took care of me.

I still feel it takes too long to be seated, when there are a lot of empty tables/booths and plenty of people working. I did like our waitress though, Kerry

There's always room for improvement.

We had two meals and one of them seemed to have small portions. We have eaten at this Sharis location many times, mostly later in the day. We always have excellent service and food. The restaurant has recently been remodeled and is now very open which has made it very noisy. We'll get used to it.

The restaurant was cold. An elderly couple next to us complained to the server about the temperature and was told she couldn't do anything about it because it was controlled by a computer.

I was satisfied but nothing about the experience stood out to me or was memorable.

The one side of seating was fairly full, and my son had just had a treatment and I didn't want him in a crowd. there were empty tables on other side, I requested to be seated at the first table there. We did sit there I don't think that your hostess was very happy about it, she did have a reason saying that our service would not be great, there was only one server working at that time,which we did understand. The food was good and we will return.

I was not seated very quickly nor was the order taken quickly. I sat there for five minutes or more before I could get a drink order. I asked to have the French toast first then the omelet and I was still eating the French toast when the waitress brought the omelet.

I requested Decaf coffee and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was brought at least 5 - 10 minutes before my coffee. I wanted to enjoy them together so I waited for my coffee. When my coffee finally arrived, the roll was very cold.
