nnamon rolls.Shari's always has great food at reasonable prices. Their pies are amazingly good. The S'mores Galore pie rides that fine line between delicious and too sweet without ever crossing it, even down to the last bite. Don't bother with the c

Nothing in particular. The staff was actually quite good, but it did take a bit of time to get food (which I doubt was the staff's fault). The meal that we had a problem with was new on the menu (the staff admitted to just having taste tested the night before). We asked if there were onions, and they thought there was not. There was, and quiet a bit. So a portion of our time went to delving through the food and digging out every onion we found, which was a lot more than we had thought there would be (it looked to make up about 1/5-1/6 of the meal in total).

It took a while for our server to take our order. Granted we took a little time to decide, but we thought she'd be back sooner. We each got a couple slices of pie, but it was nice cuz our server gave me a free piece. She said the size of the piece was too small and they'd throw it out anyway so I thought that was nice. The lemon meringue and raspberry mix wasn't to my liking because I felt it wasn't really all that fresh and I didn't care for the taste. I loved the smores pie, though. My gf loved the hazelnut pie and the apple pie. Actually, I wish I had gotten the apple pie because that tasted amazing and I usually am picky with apple pie. Thus far the strawberry rhubarb, smores, and the apple pie are my top 3. I haven't tried all the pies yet, but it's a goal of mine.

No follow-up after order was served except for about 1 minute after it was delivered. My water was not refilled at all.

My biscuits and gravy were lukewarm when they came to the table and had a bitter taste (I believe from the biscuits). Web though there were many open tables when we arrived, at one point we and two groups were waiting because (it seems) they were so short-staffed no one was bussing tables and one whole section had no one being seated. It's a little ridiculous for a popular diner chain to be short staffed for lunch on a Sunday.

too long to get seated

I was there one Christmas day for dinner. I was surprised at how busy it was. Seating took a long time but that is to be expected with that many people. They ran out of prime rib and clam chowder soup which again it was very busy. The young girl working the front was very pretty and attentive. All of the staff seemed to be working hard to accommodate everybody.

At 9:30 at night the restaurant was full and customers were waiting to be seated. Wait staff was cordial but hurried and tired. I understand.

We weren't acknowledged at the door but you were very busy. Every year during Life Centers Singing Christmas Tree program you should have more staff on board. People come to Shari's cuz it's right up the street & makes for convent dining. Last year (same thing) I was sitting at the counter with my Cousin and they missed my meal! I will never figure that one out)!

I ordered prime rib and sirloin steaks and found flavor not as I expected from what the menu picture appeared like and meat came to the table warm.
