I don't often voice my complaints, however I just had to say how rude our server Kymberly was, it took her about 10 minutes to get our table and there were only two other tables in the section we were in and they both had food, I finally asked another server named Jeff who our server was and he offered to take our order but I asked him to just our server, and when she did finally arrive she was very distant and I felt like she thought we were bothering her from whatever it was she was doing. Our order took probably another 25 minutes to get there, at that point the restaurant was getting busy so I can understand that, but other servers brought our food, and I wanted a refill but I never saw her come by, again I when the server Jeff was walking around asking how everyone was, I finally told him I was upset and he offered to get the manager but by then I was ready to leave and didn't want to wait. I don't often have a bad experience at Shari's and really look forward to coming but if this standard being set then I will look to elsewhere to eat.

coffee was WAY to strong. pancake were cold. forgot the cheese on my eggs. asked for all bacon got sausage. the hash browns were burnt and tasted burnt I could not eat them.

I went to the Shari's I often visit and really like, and where I have always been very satisfied. I ordered prime rib, medium rare with a herb crust. When it was served it appeared to have been sitting out for some time and was very well done. The meat was tasteless and tough. I don't normally return my food but this was so bad that I requested the waiter to replace it. (I must say he was very nice and provided excellent service.). He brought me a second slab of meat that appeared much the same as the first, and in addition was stone cold. He also returned this meat to the kitchen. He then brought a third piece of meat which appeared to be cooked a little less, but which now had a blackened crust and some sauce poured over it, but was still not warm. I gave in and ate it, but was not happy. As I said, I often visit Shari's and have not had such an experience in the past.

Waitress never brought requested items. Also, never came back once she dropped our initial food at table

The franchisee owner was working in the kitchen along with two chefs. She did not know the ingredients needed to make the salad that I ordered. One of the two chefs had to tell her the ingredients in the salad. She took way too long to complete my order, even though I asked that blue cheese crumbles not be added after she had started making the salad. It was not explained to me that blue cheese crumbles were part of the salad. Everything in this restaurant seemed like everyone was not team a player and it just did not run smoothly. I will not return to this particular restaurant.

Our server seems like she was in a bad mood, did not offer or discuss the menu/variety. She also did not tell us what is included/excluded and charge us extra without discussing with us.

This restaurant definitely could improve. Perhaps the first thing to do is improve greeting of guests. A customer inbound should never have to wait while a customer out bound is checked out if there are tables available. Also, inbound persons of obvious African descent shouldn't be required to wait when no one is checking out and there are tables available. That's just rude and disrespectful. Managers should not need to infom the guests that they will be with them in a moment. When that moment stretches into five to ten while servers are cashing out three outbound customers, the message, intentional or otherwise, is the guest isn't welcome. Americans of African descent are particularly sensitive to this 'too busy' to seat you display of careless hospitality. Since I frequent restaurants of all types frequently in my business, I have the experience and the inclination to praise or complain. As for Shari's Restaurants, overall I have found that they live up to their marketed reputation, however if not for the server who finally waited on me at this location, they would get no stars from me.

The vegetarian options have been extremely limited by the removal of the veggie patty from the menu. Without this option there really is no reason for us to come here to eat.

When we were seated Josh came around and asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered coffee, diet soda and water. Never did get the water. Ordered burger with NO ONIONS, it came with onions. The egg on the order was sunny not hard cooked making a horribly soggy sandwich that ended up needing to be eaten with a fork & knife. There were maybe 15 tots to go with my hubby's burger. Only saw Josh once when he "checked" on us. Never did get the water, never had a refill pot of coffee or offered another soda. My salad had drips and food all over the dish which did not look presentable (usually the cooks will wipe off a dish before it comes out). The only thing that really saved this meal was the woman that came around (hostess? manager?) and asked if we needed anything else. She brought us a dessert menu and made amazing desserts and offered to refill drinks. She was friendly and offered great customer service!!! Unfortunately we didn't get her name :(
