Shari's

This Shari's was excellent. It is simply not ner me and it is highly unlikely that I will stop there again in teh near future.

The waitress was polite but not attentive to the satisfaction of the customer. The food tasted as though it had said under a heating lamp for a long time. It was barely warm and rubbery and dry. I had brought my grandson for his birthday breakfast there today. I really hoped for a better meal and better service.

Your survey works like your people and your food. The is not enough room on this to explain why $75 of food was trashed and taste like liver. Service was 6 different people completely confused, Your survey has bumped timed me out. I can't share everything. I will not be back and will be on yahoo later. They won't time me out.

The egg was requested over medium, but was delivered hard, with crusted edge, and not hot. The bacon was badly overcooked and cool. This was the worst restaurant breakfast I had ince one at Denny's more than 2 decades ago, and I never went back there, either. At 5:15 am there were only a few other customers and no reason for the food to be so poorly prepared. For $9.29, plus tip, I expect better quality. I did not mention the problems to the waitress because I don't waste food; I ate it and paid for it. This was not the fault of the wait staff but of the kitchen crew.

There were indigent people wandering in and out of the restaurant. This created a sleazy unsafe environment. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO SHARIS FOR THIS REASON.

It took 35 minutes to get our order. My salmon was hard and the vegetables were cold. The roll looked like someone sat on it. My wife's French dip was pathetic looking, with hard beef, on a roll that was too small and (yea) way too many hush puppy potatoes. I felt sorry for the server, Jered, who was embarrassed about the wait. We go to Shari's all the time - usually after church - and at the Shari's in Vancouver off 164th. We decided today that Shari's is good for maybe ONLY breakfast - but the experience at the Shari's, on Airport Way, in Vancouver, at 2:30 PM today, was very sad. Larry Hatfield and Larry Curtis had much higher standards.

Other then our server, everyone from the manager to the busboy should be let go including the cooks. The time it took to place our order was unacceptable. The portion size of the egs and hash browns were unacceptable. What they called toast was no more the bread that never got close to a toaster. What they called hash browns should be called hash whtes. Let's not get stared on what was to be scrambled eggs the were something I needed to send to a lab to identify. I have been to other Sheri's which enjoyed and will return to but this location needs to be closed and new staff hired. The $26.17 we paid was $26.00 to much..

I frequent this Sharis location fairly often. I literally cringe when I see I am being seated in Mary's section. To say her attentiveness is lacking would be to greatly understate the issue. She rarely comes and checks back on me and I usually have to flag down another server who is passing by to get drink refills. Once she drops off the check she NEVER comes back and checks on me unless again, I track down another server. On this occasion she completely forgot about one of the appetizers we ordered and even after it was brought to her attention she failed to follow up and find out where it was so we had to flag down another server. For dessert, one of our party ordered a Turtle Sundae and she completely forgot about it. It was Wednesday so we were expecting our free pie and when she came to ask about pie the person who ordered the turtle sundae was told by her that she couldn't do that for the "free pie". He understood that but ordered it anyway. However, after being told about the "free pie", when we got to the register she told us we were too late to get it (10:45pm). A manager had to be called who graciously gave us the pie. Free pie should not end at 10pm.

Very unfriendly service. We are traveling home to another state and decided to stop by for a meal before our flight. Our server/hostess Carol was very unfriendly, impatient, and almost rude. Our drinks were not refilled. When the time came for her to ask us if we wanted pie, she was walking away from the table before we had even answered, let alone ask a question about the pie selection. I left feeling very unvalued as a customer, and will not be returning to a Shari's when I return to Oregon next.

When I ordered my breakfast, it was swimming in grease, the eggs were completely overcooked and my bread was cold and had a huge amount of butter. Living in Newberg, OR, my husband and I go to that location at least twice a month, however, the Airport location was extremely disappointing. I don't think I will be back for a while. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, however, I did not eat either my eggs or my toast which left only the bacon and the hash browns. I was not asked about my breakfast and how it tasted but I should have sent it back because I was completely dissatisfied. I made a point of telling my server, I wanted runny yolks but not slimy eggs ~ he replied "so medium". I left the restaurant and went and grabbed some McDonald's because I still starving!
