Shari's

I was sitting at my table, having been escorted there by a kind and smiling restaurant sherpa. My hunger was threatened to cave in my belly, and my throat was as parched as the leaves on a desert blossom. Then she came, warrior of the 8 top, knower of the menu. Her name tag set off a reflection that danced on my silverware. It was nothing compared to the way her light danced along the aisles. "Dana" it read. She asked me what I would like in a caring voice and I told her "my usual" which she knew by heart. All the servers did. She took the time to chat with me, her wit and intelligence brightly on display. My food came and was delicious. Dana brought me my check, thanked me for my patronage and moved along to encourage the laughter of her next client. I went to the front, paid my tab and left the tip Dana deserved. I left Shari's that night feeling satisfied and glad for the experience. If we would all treat each other the way Dana treated me, our cities could run on joy.

I wanted sub for eggs, the other sharis subs hashbrowns, she said they couldn't. I can't do eggs, I wasn't asking that much! Each sharis should be the same.

Even though our meal took a long time to arrive at our table, the waiter, Derek, was attentive to our needs and reassured us it would arrive soon. But he went above and beyond since we had to wait over 20 minutes for our meal and gave us a 30% discount on our meal. He truly made our experience positive even though we had to wait linger than usual. Kudos to Derek!

Overall, Shari's is a very nice place to visit, a nice place to eat, and a nice place to meet friends. It's great that it is open 24/7 as well. The food is consistently good; the restaurant clean and the servers are friendly.

The staff members were very helpful, down-to-earth, and friendly and my food was very enjoyable. I love coming to Sherry's I will come back as often as I'm able to. Excellent service.

Cori was wonderful! I always feel taken care of at this Shari's. I have been a customer for 20 years at least (or since I can remember!) and have always been happy. Thanks for being my favorite late night spot when I was in high school and the cherished breakfast spot with family members I have lost. I am a forever customer :) thank you Cori for another great night!
