my waitress was great, but for the price's charged are beyond BS, portions are pathetically small, peach pie was surprisingly bad for a supposed award winner, no peach cobbler is a travesty, the price's are WAY to high even if the portions were greater.

Because of the highly busy season, service was impacted with waitress who is usually very highly efficient and remembers our regular orders, was not able to function at her normally excellent service. I did not fault her in the least , and feel the restaurant might have accommodated for the natural increase in clientele at this time of year. Nevertheless , Nicole remains our favorite waitress and we are willing to wait for being seated in her area. I think the stuffed hasbrowns as a side dish were absent from the menu tho' we looked for and would have preferred them as a choice. The restaurant seemed noisier than usual and a draft was on the chillier side. We'll probably ask for a spot away from the ventilation unit that contributed to that. And maybe a seat further away from where we were this last time. But not if it means losing Nicole as our waitress. She is a real "people-person"!

Coffee not refilled until end of meal. Had to ask. Had to ask for roll/butter.

Turkey dinner was not as good as I would have liked.

I was fine with breakfast. Shari's is always consistent. This is a nice location and both hostess and waitress were very friendly. It took a little bit for the waitress to get to me so I used my cell phone for a moment. I should have waited.... but the waitress was very patient. One part of my order was wrong but I enjoyed it all anyway. My partner and I go here a couple times a year for breakfast and will continue to do so. What can I say. I prefer Shari's to Denny's and to Carrow's. On par with Elmer's. You're doing a good job. Plus, I like your cinnamon rolls! So where's that code number for the freebie??? :)

I felt the restaurant needed a facelift. From the pink acoustic tile ceiling to the outdated curtain valances, it seemed very OLD. The booth seat cushion had a huge lump in the middle of it, so I sat on one side on the lump. And there was no back support in the booth back cushion.

Your flag says "Any pie $9.99." It is lacking the fine print specifying "Any pie EXCEPT SEASONAL PIES!!!!!!!" The one I ordered is popular, so I had to order it in advance, and it was an ugly surprise to find the price 50% higher than specified by the advertisement that attracted me in the first place. Make no mistake, the staff of this particular restaurant are lovely, and I have never had a single problem with any of the servers in the 10 years I've lived near this establishment. But I am sure I am not the only customer that has been deceived by the false advertising, and it's not fair for the manager to have to explain to cheated customers that the advertisement is a lie. Please be more considerate in the future.

The server had problems with the gift cards I used. She got another to try,but he didn't understand my concerns. I was double charged at the time for my meal,but later when I went to check my account, I could see it had been rectified,so I had no need to pursue any other avenue for satisfaction.

Our Server is xlnt as a rule and this problem was not his fault but that of the cook who over fried the batter which was hard as a rock to bite into. My husband could not , in fact, and my good teeth found it also a challenge. Server brought back a new batch of same, but they were no better at all. I felt sorry for him, as he was so apologetic for something out of his control. I don't know if the cook was a new person or what was the cause of this, but we will not re-order anything fried there anymore. We had ordered a shrimp and cod combo as a matter of fact. Very disappointed in what is normally a good and tasty meal. BTW the mgr ( "Scott" ) was on vacaction that day , but am nbot sure it would have made much of a difference.
