waiter missed a portion of the order. He was apologetic and didn't charge for it and offered to get it but the meal had already been served, so didn't have him bring it. It was sliced avocado on my burger.

I had a senior american salad without olives and ham and extra turkey. The turkey tasted fishy in some mouthfuls. I should of said something but didn't want to raise a ruckus.

There was food left on the seat from the last customer and there was food on the floor in the aisle in front of the booth. The wait staff ignored it.

I think the waitress was having a bad day or hated her Job she threw the menue on the table and said I'll be back she was short and not friendly when she took my order the coffe I was given was cold and old I had to wait over 15 minutes before I could place and order to go after my meal then another 28 minutes for my food to be ready at the end I order apple souce for my sons meal and when I get home I found out they gave me French fríes

We are long-time customers of Garden Home Shari's, and it seems that lately the staff have been stretched too thin. They seem distracted, maybe multitasking too much. Our past three visits have been unsatisfactory because of slow, inattentive service.

Provided coffee cup had lipstick on it. Took longer than I have otherwise experienced to take order, receive order, present bill. I bought a pie and it was brought in a box without a bag. No one ever came to find out how I was doing, is everything alright. I ran out of coffee. The featured front-page item - shrimp omelette - did not conform to advertised item, i.e., halved cherry tomatoes is way different than diced large tomatoes; yellow omelette is different than brown. I wanted more syrup, but never saw my waitress or anyone else to ask. I have been going to Shari's for 40 years, and this is the second time I have reported dissatisfaction about real dish versus advertised dish. I saw three businessmen passing by looking at and checking everything. What would they say if they saw this report?

When I get 2 pcs. of pie to go at almost 4 bucks per piece why not offer a full pie for the price I paid for 2 pcs.so I paid almost 8 bucks for 2pcs.could have offered a whole one for the same price.Just fell like I got suckerd into it.

Portion size of the frustration on wife's order was way too small. No dressing on my sandwich. Nor was any offered. Complained, but manager could not be bothered to come personally

Manager and food were fantastic. Server was inattentive, slow to respond, didn't know the menu, misunderstood order, didn't listen well to request for boxes, check, etc., and was seen rolling eyes as she left the table. I am the son of a restaurant manager, and was brought up to tip well. I usually leave 20-25%, but today I left less than 5% for the first time in my life. From an hour long visit, more than 35 minutes was waiting for our server. She had 3 other guests at the time. Drinks were delivered quickly at first, but refills took 15 minutes. She did not bring out a salad, although we were billed for one. She brought a baked potato and mashed potatoes as sides, the confusion came from when we asked if there was baked potato soup. When there wasn't, we asked for the mashed potatoes instead. We got two sides of potatoes on a single dish. That's a lot of starch. Overall, the impression of the server was very poor. I want to reiterate that the food was excellent, and the manager friendly and helpful, even getting the server's attention when we hadn't been able to place our order yet.

Besides deterioration of food quality, redeeming previous survey validation ended with additional $ added to tab. Server mentioned problem, and then went ahead & re-issued credit with deduction for validation. However, got alert from my card issuer that higher amount had been presented for payment. Waited a few days to double-check, and apparently lesser amount had indeed been substituted for higher, so ended up being no-harm-no-foul. Still, annoying to have to monitor this. I've had this experience at 2 other fast/casual food places, so apparently this is common problem in current food service ... I'll not use card again, which may mean I won't come again unless I have cash.
