This restaurant is usually operating with a minimum serving staff, the manager and one server. If more than a few people are in the restaurant it take too long to order food, have it prepared and served. This problem is not being caused by the server as she is alway working at 125% speed.

I ordered a 1lbs t-bone steak well done. It came decently fast, which I was surprised as I ordered it well done. Started in to the steak and it was a little pink I can live with that, then the gristle content was horrible. My thoughts were where did they get these steaks from an old dairy cow. I would have to say 2/3 of steak was gristle. As I got 1/2 way into the steak the meat was bright red, as in raw no blood but definitely raw. I told the waiter and his answer was I will have the cook check the rest of the t-bones to see if they are fatty. I was not offered any compensation. He did saw that was to bad. I don't blame the server. I blame the manager on duty who witnessed the whole interaction and did not offer any thing. I am a shari's club card holder. I spend a decent amount at Shari's and was not satisfied from this meal.

The video poker area is bringing in some very nasty people. Free coffee and gambling! Watched a man wander behind the cash register and coffee service area trying to "get something" while the wait staff was busy. It is not a family environment when you have gamblers coming in at 6:30 am ready to "hang out". We are considering going to a different restaurant in our neighborhood. Our waitress was very responsive to the man when she finished with her table and made sure he returned to the gambling area. She had already tried to wait on him and he refused service. She tried her best.

All food served cold. Half of my two eggs benedict lacked Hollaindaise (?sp?) sauce. A bad experience for all the 6 of us at the table.

We've been coming here for years, but this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. 30 minutes between table checks is too long. - Server wanted to give us our check after 1.5 hours, but we had practically digested our meal by that time (waiting for the server to come back so we could ask for a to-go box and order dessert) and wanted pie. Had to order off the top of our heads, as no menus were offered, nor did we want to have to wait another half hour to see a menu, as we were pretty tired after waiting so long for our meal. - We had to ask for our salads when our entrees came, which meant our entrees sat on our table for another 15 minutes or so until we could start on them after finishing our salads (which took about 10 minutes to arrive after we received our entrees). - Son did not have a place setting, so we took one off a nearby unoccupied table. - Drink refill was brought even though we did not ask for or want one. - Person who rang us out (manager?) did not say one word to me. Not even a good-bye. Very strange. Definitely not worth the $47 bill and I don't think I'll want to come here again anytime soon.

I have been going to Sharis for 35 years. At this Sharis, I was the first to order the Bistro Breakfast, and the server spoke well of it and wanted my feedback. While it tasted good and I would consider ordering it again. I chose it mainly for the picture and its description showing spinach as the first ingredient. I told the server that the meal had maybe four chopped spinach leaves I had to dig for, no white cheese on top, and an abundance of arugula within the scrambled eggs. I also told the manager. Each said they would tell the chef. Great, but I didn't get what I ordered and paid for. My immediate prior visit, I was served raw steak, which I wanted, and raw hash browns, cheese not melted - it made me sick. I wish I did report it now.

Main issue was our server's attitude. She seemed to be trying to rush us out. She also neglected to fill our waters or even check on us throughout the entire meal. If she had she would have known that there was a mistake. My husband had asked for a double burger and only received the regular. He decided to let it go because she was so hard to find. When she finally did check on us we had been finished (and out of water) for quite some time. She still tried to rush us out, I ordered a pie shake and she was pushing that I get it to go, which was weird because we ordered some food to go for our friend who was feeling under the weather. My husband asked for a piece of pie to go, but just got it on a plate. I witnessed our server being super cheery and friendly with other customers, so I'm wonder why on earth my husband and I didn't get the same treatment.

After receiving our food the waiter never came back to our table. The waiter gave all his attention to one table of patrons he seemed to have a history with. The waiter never refilled our drinks or asked if our food was prepared ok, or if we needed anything else. The waiter walked past our table several times in about a 25 minute time span not once acknowledging us. The waiter only again helped us after I got up and asked if he could help us at our table.

This is not the first time they have messed up my order, it seems every order I place to go something is wrong, it is frustrating

I was very Satisfied. The kitchen wait was a bit too long. The waitress was exceptional
