Shari's

Soup was warm - sent back - returned hot. Quiche was warm - sent back - returned very warm, but not hot. I expected the ham & cheese to be INSIDE the broccoli quiche. This was at 6:30 pm - restaurant was 75% empty - sloppy kitchen, IMHO. When I arrived, I had to get my own menu and seat myself - cashier said "hello" but was SLOW.

Tacoma 158 is only an ok Shari's. we have eaten there only a couple of times. We are refugee's from the remodeled Tacoma Central location. we have been customers of that location for a long time, often 3 or more times a week. we had found that location very pleasant, well staffed with excellent people for the most part. we were customers every Friday night, had breakfast or lunch a time or two weekly. Once the remodel was done, we returned to find it for to loud, too brightly lit. the music was so loud and busy that it drove us away, at this point we assume for good. the corporate guy I talked to sort of shrugged and said that sort of thing was controlled by a higher pay grade( I assume) than he. at this point we do not think we will go back, despite the good menu, and excellent wait persons.

asked if I can change the eggs for 1 pancake she said in a rude way !NO!thats no right

when I pointed out the dirty silverware the server returned with a new set and stated, "All our silverware is spotted, we have a very old dishwasher."

Eh alright

I ordered a chicken sandwich, with no veggies and no sauce. When it arrived, it looked nothing like the picture. Instead of a chicken patty, which is what the picture had shown, it was just two chicken strips. Additionally, a different type of cheese was used than what was described, and no bacon came with the sandwich , which is what was shown on the menu.

I called in my order originally and when I showed up to pick the order it was not in the system after verification of the number I called there was still no explanation as to why my order never got put it nor do they know who I talked to

the food took awhile to come, but it was a Sunday afternoon. the food was lukewarm and my husbands fries were ice cold..we took our waitress about the fries and she immediately put in another order for hot fries. My husband had a sandwich,that was ok. I had eggs benidict, i should have returned it because it was cold but i didn't want to wait any longer for my food. I asked for toast and didn't get any

The store was very under staffed for the volume. By the time we received our order it was cold. The bacon was well overcooked and presented to us. Then, we had to go to the register for a take out container and our check. I usually will frequent Shari's several times a month but this left a bad taste.
