Friendly staff remembers returning customers. Service was a little slow this visit probably because it was very busy.

Front cleaning/mopping 2pm. Smell/odor of cleaner while eating steak, ruins the taste. Moved to back, still smells.

We have started visiting Shari's about twice a week and it really is wonderful. Natasha was our server the last two times we were in and she is absolutely AMAZING!!! She even remembered what we had ordered, including drinks, on our previous visit! Shari's has great food, served at the ideal temperature and the flavor and freshness are super high quality. The price is completely reasonable too! We like the food but the people at Shari's are what make the experience special. Natasha is a prime example of that! I have trained customer service teams for over 30 years and Natasha is an excellent example of what PERFECT customer service looks like. Natasha knows when to stop by our table and check on us, she exemplifies the ideal in client service standards that I've come accustomed to at Shari's. Natasha always has a smile and really makes a meal out something special. The food is great but Natasha's customer service skills makes Shari's a MUST for dining in Castro Valley! She is one of the best servers I've ever encountered...and I have dined at some of the world's best restaurants. It's always a pleasure to dine at Shari's and to see Natasha.

The people working are very pleasant and fun people. Our waitress Sonia is always friendly and the service is outstanding.
