Found eggshell in food

The waitress was awful but the manager was great b

The food was good and price was right

First we were not offered any water before or during the meal. Second, three of us did order coffee which came, but only enough for a cup and a half each. I set the empty coffee urn on the edge of the table for a refill. The waitress walked by it several times without asking or offering a refill.

My eggs were over cooked, the floor in the area I was sitting needed to be vaccumed. And when I look over and see the manager take a plate from the pass through window and when a piece of food fell from the plate she picked it up and ate it instead of throwing it away. I feel that is very unsanitary and disgusting.

We got to the table and our waiter was getting off of work so he brought us coffee and orange juice. Then he went in the back where the food comes out of with bike.Pushed it right by our table. My husband and I could not believe that they would keep a bike in the kitchen where they make food. We are not going to be eating at your restaurant ever.

The food was good, but the clam chowder was warm and not hot. The staff were fighting with each other about someone adjusting the temp in "their" area. The manager Melissa was right there but didn't seem to control the situation. And the two female employees seemed to argue about who would go home 1st if it stayed slow.

MY SANDWICH WAS TASTELESS AND THE BREAD WAS DRY. MYSOUP WAS ONLY WARM NOT HOT AND MY HUSBAND,S CHICKEN FRIED STEAK WAS OVERCOOKED AND TOUGH BESIDES BEING BARELY WARM. ONE OF THE FEW TIMES WE'VE BEEN DISAPPOINTED IN SHARI'S

I feel the quality of the food at Shari's has gone done hill dramatically and the menu is now very limited. It is increasingly harder to find food choices that appeal to me. It saddens me, because Shari's was my favorite place to eat.
