too cold

French Toast was not served very warm. Very satisfied with our server, Sara. We were greeted immediately, seated promptly. Sara's attitude was very pleasant. Other wait staff was very pleasant as well. My Tuscan Chicken Salad was a delight.

Only one server available for a large number of people

I had the quiche and salad. The sesame salad is very good. You used to provide a different tasting quiche with a sauce over the top, I prefer it to what you serve now.

We had to wait too long after being seated. I finally stood up and asked a passing gentleman (maybe a cook) "Who's minding the store?" A different waitress (Scottie) came immediately and was solicitous and extremely competent. Unfortunately Shari's was out of both the soup and the coconut pie - this was rather late on a Friday night. Scottie suggested substitutes which turned out to be excellent. As we checked out she mentioned the Cafe Club which we subsequently have joined. She left us laughing when her last words were that "She would guarantee us a piece of coconut cream pie the next time came if she had to go up to the Safeway and purchase one of those cardboard encased little ones." We were still chuckling when we got into the car.

The food was good but the selection is limited. Everything I used to eat is now off the menu. It is hard to know what to order anymore. I miss the bacon blue cheese burger.
