Lately it has taken to long to get our food. It took an hour for food to get to us from the time of seating. The steak was luke warm and too peppery, usually I would have sent it back but I didn't want to wait another hour. I will only go again for breakfast.

Upon entering the restaurant, there were two associates at the front counter--neither greeted us. One left and the other continued what we assumed was set-up the till for the day. After minutes, she said that she'd seat us as soon as she finished the job at hand. When our order arrived after a 15-minute wait, one of the meals was incorrect and that plate had cool food on it. Our server remembered and brought the proper meat but didn't recognize that the eggs were scrambled instead off over-medium. We brought it to her attention when she asked if everything was okay. She took the plate back to the kitchen to get the properly ordered eggs. We had to ask for table service, which the server failed to notice there was none. Some of the food was not flavorful--biscuits and gravy and the bacon. It's obvious that this restaurant is a favorite hang-out for locals. For those of us visiting, not so much. We will look elsewhere as we are in Walla Walla several times during the year.

THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT BUSY, I WAS WITH 3 ELDERLY PEOPLE AND OTHERS WERE SEATED BEFORE US. IT TOOK OVER 20 MINUTES TO GET COFFEE AND PIE. THE WAITRESS WAS MAD AT THE WORLD. I'VE NEVER HAD SUCH POOR SERVICE, ESPECIALLY IN A RESTAURANT THAT WAS NOT BUSY, AND THERE WERE PLENTY OF STAFF AVAILABLE.

I ate at a Sharis years ago - want to say 1980s. Experience was similar to today. My ribs were DRY and tasteless. The "baked beans" were COLD - like just out of the fridge cold - not even room temperature. 6 years ago I moved to Vancouver WA and I meet friends at Sharis once or twice a month. Food is always excellent!! So that's why I went to the Walla Walla Sharis- what a horrible disappointment. But now I know why it wasn't crowded.........

I've always had great food at Shari's. But the gardenburger I had was actually the worst I have ever eaten. Skinny bun, nothing special inside to aid the burger which was not grilled well. Our gang goes there once a month on Sunday morning and I go by myself frequently and have always been very happy. But this time was a disaster.

ordered eggs Benedict- english muffin, NOT toasted; eggs cooked hard; Hollanda sauce had no taste, soup like......NO COMMENT CARDS IN STORE!!!!!!!!!!

My wife ordered the Seafood Combo from the Seniors menu and the fish was not fully cooked and very oily. She told the waitress who brought out another order of fish. It was done but again very oily and she said the oil tasted ‘old’. The waitress called the manager who offered another meal as a replacement but she had already finished the Shrimp and didn’t want another meal tonight. He took the item off the ticket as a customer courtesy. She had a similar experience once before; are we expecting too much? We think it should have been drained much more than it was before it was brought to the table. My meal, the pot roast was excellent.

We were seemingly invisible to our server. We had to ask other staff for refills on water or other requests as "Nicco-2" was no better than indifferent about our service. When taking our order, she was attentive enough. Delivery was another matter altogether. After ordering my eggs "medium well" so that the yolks would be gelled, I was brought eggs that were overcooked, scorched around the edge all the way around, but the yolks were proper. This is not an impossible egg to cook as I get them done properly everywhere else we go. As for our server, she should have seen burnt eggs and declined to serve them in the first place. When I brought them to her attention, she offered to have them remade. I accepted that but then quickly called back to her and asked for them to simply be replaced with scrambled to speed things up. I got watery and near cold scrambled eggs. I was no better off. My French toast was scorched on one side and acceptable on the other. Uneven and inattentive cooking does that. We received our bill (and further waitress indifference) and went to pay. At the register I asked for the manager and was told "he went to the bank and will be back later." We deserved better.

Order wasn't correct Eggs not cooked enough and bacon was not crisp like I asked for and was very greasy. Manager only took $1 off order even though I only actually got to eat my toast and bacon.
