Shari's

You can always improve on food and the service of the reasturant. Had several different waiters at our table but they did good. Satisfied is a good choice for me!

Waitress took our drink order but no one ever checked on us nor took food order until we contacted another waiter to get waitress or take our order.

Good service. Ordered breakfast and it was very good.

Both of our cooked fish overcooked .

Did not have rice pilaf on the day we were there....had to choose something else.

We like Sharis. The day we went for lunch it seemed they were under staffed or something. 2 different servers told me & the lady behind me that they would be right with us to seat us. I'm guessing, I stood there 5 min. or more when the lady behind me was told the same thing as I was. I told her yeah, they said that to me as well. I finally asked if I could seat myself & did. The fella brought me a menu. I asked for a drink of water & was told, she is your server. I was given a water before my party came. I waited for the rest of my party that was late. When they did come, we still waited. She finally took our orders. My Mom told the server how she wanted her food & was argued with. mom never eats a whole meal & wanted part to go. After our orders were taken, she took the next table's orders & they received their food before we did. When we got ours, my sister's soup was cold, mine was just ok.(just warm)I like hot. I never did get my water refilled until I commented to my sister that she never did come back to even ask. I don't know if she heard me or not, but service was lacking. :( I felt like my meal was lacking too...the "bowl" of soup was tiny & 1/2 full.

I've been coming to Shari's in Salem (both of them) for at least 3 years. The last 5 visits the wait staff did not ask if I wanted pie or anything else. I have to say, had they asked, I would have had it to go. When they pick up my plate, they say that they will be right back with my check. So honestly, I am a little disappointed. I am a widow of 3 and a half years and since my husband died, I made it a point to treat myself to Shari's at least once a month, sometimes twice.

Everybody was great, my server was willing to make my experience great and comfortable

This Shari's is my favorite cafe to eat at. Close to where i go for doctors appointments and usually have someone with me.

only complaint was scrambled eggs need some kind of seasoning
