We got our food and my daughters cheese burger was charcoal on one side. Once we finally got the waitress to acknowledge us, she asked us what we wanted her to do about it. I told her we would like a new one. When it came back it was almost as bad but softer, as my daughter phrased it. And her fries were not cooked. My friend ordered a sampler platter, which all was fine except her pancakes were obviously cooked on the same burned griddle and tasted so. Plus we upgraded all 3 oders of hashbrowns to the stuffed, and were sorely dissappointed in the fact they were just hashbrowns with a dollop of sourcream, and tooped with cheese and and bacon not the $1.99 upgrade charge. Everyone elses food was ok. I was brought the bill, sent my daughter up to pay. When we were leaving, i stopped and asked for my receipt, and asked if i could speak with the manager. When the waitress came to me, she said the manger was too busy to talk to me. And that she was really rude and i should just complain online.. tge manager was looking at me the whole time she was saying she didnt want to waste her time speaking with me.

the place was DIRTY from the sidewalk outside looking unkempt to everywhere you looked it was dirty paper towel holders in the server station just greasy and nasty, to floors under counter dirty unmopped and unswept. So gross we only ordered a coffee as not to be rude we know its not the servers fault but we used to go there all the time but it has been a couple years we were shocked at how nasty everything was we were afraid to order food if where we see is that icky what must the unseen areas be like staff was nice but seemed overwhelmed. The place needs some attention to detail and a very good cleaning, bottom of doors were all worn and scuffed put some paint/varnish on it just everywhere you look something icky/dirty not good! Don't want even a free thing from there as I value my health. High prices and dirty wont be back for while. Thought you should know come check it out!!

Took over 15 minutes to get our order taken. The restaurant was not at all busy. Food portions on chicken fried steaks have gotten noticeably smaller. Drinks arrived after food. After seeing the tip amount left the cashier did not thank us our our patronage or say have a good night.

Easter Sunday: Once again, as always the pie station internal window was filthy, pie crumbs everywhere, stock lock and it was only 10:15 am. In the last 30 days we have eaten at six different Shari's due to travel. This time my waffle plate had dried egg yolk. The server did not see it because Linda the General Manager brought us the plate. There was black crude under her fingernails. She had old mascara under her eyes. She looked like she had come to work from a hard night out and her shirt barley covered her belly. When I showed the server my plate, she was extremely embarrassed and responded very appropriately and quickly. She removed my meal and the pecan roll from the bill as we got the email special. GM never came to our table to check in. When we went to check out SHE CHARGED ME FOR THE PECAN ROLL. She had no words of apologize or making amends and she fought with me about the roll saying I was already credited for the waffle. I informed her she was charging me more than the bill was that was brought to me; she actually changed the bill. I told her she was filthy and the Health Depart would hear about it Mon. She said "Great". I will file a complaint now.

I never complain but this was not a very good experience. My burger was burnt charcoal flavor. Not just a little bit, black and nasty. My fault for not saying anything but two of the meals came so late everyone else was half done. Asked for pickles on the side for one of the plates. Pickles were on the sandwich. Asked for an order of honey mustard had to ask twice. Not trying to bad mouth everything. The waitress was pleasant.

Not all the silverware was on the table. Coffee was luke warm, vegetables were cold. Steak was rare and I asked for medium. I ordered apple pie and received it cold and was not asked if I wanted it heated up. Waitress (Shalane) took my plate with the fork and when she brought my cold apple pie I did not receive a fork. When I asked for my pie to be heated she returned the pie heated but so was the whip cream. She assumed that my friend and I were on the same check so we had to ask for separate checks.

took 20 minutes to get our water and take our order. Dinner didn't come to the table for 30 minutes. When food arrived order was wrong, food was burnt, server didn't come back to check on the meal. Both meals had to be re-cooked. Management made excuses and place blame for the errors rather than take care of us.

We ordered the Prime rib medium rare. Nobody told us that they could not cook it medium rare. So they bring it to use cooked medium well, we had also ordered mashed potatoes with gravy. The gravy was so bad it actually tasted burnt. When I finally got the waitresses attention to come over she explained that the steaks are precooked and they cannot be made medium rare. (So why did she not tell us this when we ordered) so I asked her to just bring me some Mac and chesse as a meal to replace it and she said she could do that. I said I would like a meal size not a side size please. I am then brought back a side size. At this point I am so mad I just want to get out of here and never come back. The manager was at the register and we explained everything to him. He said he was very sorry and to have a good night. I am sorry but do to this one incident we will never come back to a Shari's restaurant again. And we will be sure to tell all of our friends about it.

We were not treated with any attention. Our order took way too long to get taken & to receive. The server hardly interacted. Our bill had to be waited on to receive. We had to wait too long to be wAited on to pay our bill.
