As already noted, it took too long to be greeted upon entering the restaurant and to be seated. The greeter served our beverages and told us who our wait person would be, and then it took too long for the wait person to appear. All this "took too long" opinion is based on the number of empty seating within the restaurant and apparent low number of guests.

We walked in the door there was no one at the front. After a minute a girl walked up and said, "Have you been helped?". I said 'No' and she said, "Okay, let me put my stuff away". A young man walked up and without saying a word gathered menus, then as he walked away he said over his shoulder "this way". After seating us he said he would be back to get our drinks. He never came back. Another girl came over and said, "Are you ready to order?" No one ever actually greeted us or smiled at us. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. The young man then came over and apologized for not getting drinks, which I appreciate! Our food came and was fine, but the server was never cheerful or positive. The entire time we were there it seemed as if we were an inconvenience. At one point the manager (I'm assuming) and rest of the servers huddled over our table in between the server station and kitchen, talking and pointing to the kitchen. Awkward. We then had to wait a bit for our ticket, and when our server came over she wasn't in her uniform anymore and was clearly trying to leave. I live in Newberg and planned to drive past Sherwood to Newberg store, next time I will for sure.

The atmosphere was not friendly. The server seemed distracted. The manager was apparently busy elsewhere, as did not show up while we were there. In short, we had a sense of a cool reception. And, the steak, "medium rare," was medium well in most areas. BTW, this is HIGHLY UNUSUAL for this location. Usually, we are highly satisfied with everything at this store. Don't know what happened this time.

The team members were nice and answered my questions. However, there were two problems. The first is that the waitress said it would not take long. I had told her I had a time constraint. My theory is that her idea of not long is different from mine. It was not terribly long but longer than I anticipated based on her reply. The second problem is that she did not bring me the water I requested for quite some time and never refilled the glass. A different waitress finally brought the water but no one refilled the glass. They were all nice, however, I was disappointed. I would have said something but as I remarked earlier, I was short of time.

For the 2nd time visiting my wife ordered the Turkey dinner. The staff here used way too much sodium in the meal for the 2nd time. It is not necessary and unhealthy for people watching their sodium intake.

My hamburger bun was greasy, soggy and had been microwaved along with the lettuce and tomatoes making it super hot. The fish pieces were tiny and overcooked. Very few fries with hamburger order. Chicken wings were a little overcooked. Now I understand why it took so long to get my order.

ordered a TRIO, the ciabatta bread was very dry and hard...ordered the caprese salad, it had arugala instead of basil for the green...had cream of broccoli soup,lukewarm at best.
