Shari's

Waited along time to be seated and the restaurant was half empty Took to long to take our order took to long to ask if we would like desert so did not have time to order Had to ask for bill We only have an hour for lunch

I had a hard time cutting the hot cakes with my fork.

We arrived at about noon and were given a breakfast menu and had to ask for a lunch menu. The chicken salad sandwich was very good but the butternut squash soup was not at all good. We have had lunch/dinner at Shari's many times in the past but have had problems with the service, our membership card that I was advised to replace with a new one, then told I didn't need one at a different location. If the staff is uncertain about procedures, how do you think that affects my wanting to return?

The waitress was told by the cook about the onions. I guess they looked slimy and the cook didn't want the rist of bad onions. She forgot to tell me I wasn't getting the sandwich i ordered and I was still charged the higher price. The sandwich was extremely bland and fatty

Maria was helping me and she just seemed to be snobby. When I wanted one thing she kinda groaned at me.. I asked for ranch for my platter and never got it when she clearly said she would go get it.. I would expect this from someone who was busy but there is only 3 people in here. Next time if I come id be better off going to Alex.

The new menu is a great disappointment. All the items that brought us to Shari's have been removed. It's too far away to go just for a piece of pie. I guess we'll go to Elmer's in the future. At least it they have a good variety of dishes, especially breakfast items. Most of the Shari's in our city are looking pretty rundown but the staff were always friendly and helpful. This was not the case on our last visit. I can honestly say the new menu is a failure and we have no reason to return in future.

I already said most of it. The gal that seated us then went to clear tables and while she was putting the dirty dishes in the pan at the wait station hollered across the way to ask us what we wanted to drink instead of coming to the table to take our order.

PRICES WENT UP ANFD THE FREE PIE IS SELECTED CRAZY CRAY

We had a 9 month old in a high chair at our table. The hostess brought our waters and sat them right down in front of him and dashed away. We had to jump up and grab them before he spilled them on himself. The waitress did exactly the same thing! She sat down a plate with a hot bowl of soup and a half sandwich right down in front of him and he grabbed for the soup and almost dumped the whole bowl and got burned. The cup of potato soup was way too thick and barely warm. The half sandwich had so little in it except for lots of leaf lettuce. It was definitely not one of my better experiences at Shari's. We ad to go ask for our check in order to leave.
