I met a friend at 3:45 on a Thursday afternoon at this Shari's. After we were seated and the waitress came over to take our order, we told her we were just having coffee. She rolled her eyes and walked away, never to return. About 45 minutes later, I tracked down the same waitress to tell her we were stepping out for a minute, but would be right back. Again she rolled her eyes and just said, "Fine." She was very rude and was obviously frustrated that we were just having coffee. Shari's calls itself a cafe, and it seems to me that sometimes people just drink coffee at cafes. I saw nothing wrong with this. To top it all off, she never even made us a ticket. So then we had to wait around while the (very nice) woman at the counter tried to figure out why we didn't have a ticket, and then create one for us. It was not an enjoyable experience. I did not get the name of our "waitress." I believe she was in her 50's, thin, with fairly short hair. I will be sure to avoid this location in the future.

To start out waitress was not very attentive that we were even seated when the food came out the fries and tots were luke warm at best the burger had no flavor wilted lettuce most likely because it had been sitting in the window too long our waitress never came back to our table to refill drinks or to even check to see if everything was okay and to top it off we had to ask someone else for our check. I am a chef and if I served food like this or my service to my customers was like this I would be fired . I will not return to this Shari's again.

Both our meals were cold. Wait staff was more interested in BSing than taking care of the customers

First, this location was not busy. I walked in with my pregnant wife, and stood there for a few minutes waiting to get seated. Mind you there was no one waiting in front of us. I was finally seated as my wife used the restroom. After 5 minutes or so, a waitress came over to take our drink orders. I asked for a coffee for me and a water for my wife. I was brought a saucer of creamers and 2 warm waters. The waitress had on WAY too much cheap perfume, which gave my wife a headache. After 10 minutes or so, a different waitress came over and said she would be taking care of us. I again asked for a cup of coffee. I was told a new batch was brewing and i would have it in just one or two minutes. After 10 minutes, it was delivered. I asked to have chocolate lava cake. After 10 minutes, the waitress came up and said, oh, your dessert... and went and made it in just 2 minutes. As we sat there and ate our dessert, no one asked us how everything was. When we left, we ordered a banana split to go. When it came, it was a disgusting melted mess that barely looked like what i ordered. I couldn't wait any longer for my bill, so I just went to the register.

The waitress never returned after serving to see how the food was. I should have walked out. The first thing we noticed was the prices went up but then to be served such subpar food really pushed my limit. We've been going to Sharis sometimes once a week each month. Now that will be going down.

Very short handed for servers management was even doing part of the cooking.with being short handed they spread people from one end of the restaurant to the other. When the food was brought out the main meal came first and then later the salads. They had one small tomato and two slices of cucumber and the rest was lettuce with some browning spots on them. The tarter sauce and lemon that I asked for with my fish came out after my food got cold from waiting for it. As my husband was finishing up his food he found this good size ball of hair and grease under the last 4 pieces of his french fries. It made us all a little sick to our stomachs and wondered how our food had been prepared

I went there for a steak dinner and didn't have a Tbone so I ordered a ribeye steak , it was really fatty & it wasn't done enough it was bloody . And it was to expensive for what I got . I did even want to bring the rest home .

This is the 5th time we have gone to the Lancaster store. In those 5 times they got our order right once. We have gone to Keizer store for 11 years and have always ordered the same meal the same way. We had omelets and said I wanted them well done and with no cheese. Mine came with cheese and the waitress told me that I didn't tell her. I did. So she said well I didn't hear you. So she took it back and they made a new one, this one came out practically raw in side. So I told her forget the omelet and just put my pancakes on a plate. Of course she ignored me and got the omelet fixed. By then I was so upset I didn't enjoy it. She said she was sorry.. I am not a trouble maker and you can talk to Dave at Keizer and he will tell you. Name is Cal and Barb. We will drive over to Keizer when ever we want to eat at Shari's. That is all I have to say except I won't go back there.

ordered the spring omelet because of the picture in the menu as well as the description of ingredients. it was smothered with the cheapest ingredient green onions and the cook did not put the most expensive ingredient bleu cheese. also I upgraded to the loaded hash browns again because of the picture and description only to receive $0.22 worth of sour cream cheese and bacon inside and on the hash browns. last I ordered my rye toast dry and received extra saturated margarine therefore my toaat was very soggy. when I brought it to the server's attention after the third bite she returned to tell me that yes you're right the cook forgot the blue cheese I told her about the disappointing picture vs. what I got as well as not receiving dry toast she quickly walked away and returned with a comment from the manager. We are going to take 1.99 off of your meal
