Shari's

Ken the waiter was very good. However the greeter was less then inviting when asked for a booth as I was by myself he said because I am alone that I should use the counter and that I would have to wait to be served because I was by myself... Ken did not do that and served me in a timely manner. I believe the greater needs to think more highly of single people wanting a booth.

I like all my food to be hot or at least very, very warm, the gravy had already turned to jell. Not a good sign. And no, I did not send it back, when one waits for food a bit ( 5 to 10 minutes - sometimes longer ) one does not ant to wait for another 5 or 10 minutes.

I was mostly satisfied with the quick, polite service. The food was at an edible temperature. The hostess was mildly rude, but seated us relatively quickly. The price for our meal was acceptable for the average cost of a restaurant and that is why I like Shari's, also for the variety of food on the menu.

By the time I got the food it was cold and the steak was cold raw. Not even close to cooked.

First time visited (last Saturday) in over 5 years. The eating area was nicely redone and refreshed! Like so much, I returned today (Thursday) with my friend. Didn't really have any problems, just can't say "highly" satisfied because very few places get that rating. You are DOING VERY WELL! and the change in the eating area was a pleasant and delightful experience. That area was always kind of "dingy" and "dark" feeling. Kudos for the changes.

High satisfaction, in my opinion, is a superlative meaning an exceptional rating. My experience at Shari's is consistently good, but I wouldn't rate it as exceptional or "above and beyond" my expectations of a family restaurant or diner.

I felt a tick mark on a check list.

We got stuffed hash browns and did not like the recipe change. We preferred the white cheese instead of the cheddar and did not like the bacon on top. The applewood sausage were delicious. Service was good

When I have to ask for more water rather than being asked it irks me. It is more irksome when there are as many waitstaff in a restaurant as diners.
