My wife and I visit sharis at no less than once a week. The last two times we visted they were out of the wine my wife likes, I find it unacceptable to be out of the same wine the comment was our order has not come in yet, wine has been on order over two weeks.

I had ordered a second beer during my dinner, and the Waitress had forgotten about it. After I had signaled her she immediately remembered and was professional. Not going to prevent me from coming back, but definitely not something I hope to experience again.

it seems that the waiters have a contest to see how much noise they can make when placing the dirty dishes into the bin. Very noisy most all the time.

Very good food, very good service. Only complaint is they only had maple syrup.

Ordered the Trail Boss with salad as side and added a side of Onion Rings. When we received our check we were shocked to see we had been charged nearly $5.00 for 6 or 7 beat up onion rings. Upon speaking to the cashier about it, she merely replied that she'll have to let them know and offered no solution.

It's a high bar to be "Highly Satisfied" anywhere. The Shari's dining experience was good overall. The pancakes could have been fluffier. a variety of syrups were not offered. This particular presentation of the Standard breakfast with corned beef hash could have been better presented and prepared. The hash was piled, rather than "pattied", and didn't strike me as being completely cooked. There was not a crispness to the layers above and on the bottom. It was edible, but not corned beef hash that I remember. Overall, the food was okay. The service was excellent. If the goal is to keep customers "Highly Satisfied", please consider tweaking the recipes and preparation of the food. The menu items are all excellent choices.

I noticed an elderly lady with a walker, in rain, trying to open the main door, and left my meal to help her. None of the staff noted, and no assistance offered. Told manager that it is a disgrace to not have handicapped access along a major interstate; he felt that there is access - handicapped marking for parking and a curb cut - but no remote switch for a heavy door (actually 2) and to me that is not access. The food was great, the service fine, but I will not patronize Sharis until your company accepts the need for real access. P.K. Swartz Jr. MD 711 E. Scenic Dr. The Dalles, OR 97058
