Shari's

For me the "Highly Satisfied" ranking means something was uniquely outstanding. As indicated, I have no complaints about food service or atmosphere.

You have changed your menu, especially regarding breakfast. Shari's is famous for it's breakfast but who ever put this new menu dropped the ball, BIG TIME!!!!

The choices on the menu especially the breakfast menu has gotten so small that we almost went somewhere else.

We both had the strawberry waffle and while the presentation was good and flavor was good, the waffle was "tough". Almost needed a knife to cut it. Other than that, no complaints.

The server who seated us gave us our drinks then went to help others. Her return was delayed, yet other servers did not assist her or came over to tend to our order. Very poor cooperation amoung the servers.

I ordered a cinnamon to go---it had no whipped cream, it was terribly dry & had no flavor of a good cinnamon roll. The waitress whisked our left over food away before I could say we wanted to take it.

Please refer to previous comment. Additionally, I sat there for quite some time after I was full, and my Waiter didn't bring my receipt. I finally called his name as he was walking around to the back counter, to ask for a container for my pie. (Granted, business was starting to pick up right around that time.)

Themresturant was not busy at 3:pm. I was the only one standing there waiting and it took several minutes to be acknowledged and another 2 minutes to get seated. This is not the first time it has happened here. Last time I tried to come here I waited 5 minutes and still was not acknowledged. I walked out and went elsewhere that night. My waitress was Exceptional; bright, bubbly, cheerful, attentive. It made me feel at home in the restaurant.

The service was excellent, the new trainee was very upbeat, eager to please and very enthusiasitc. My sister's choice of Lemon Meringue Pie and Coffee were excellent. But my food experience was not as good. I was satisfied with some aspects of my experience but Shari's is not a restaurant that falls into the caliber of highly...satisfied is a compliment. As far as the food, I ordered chardonnay wine however they were out. I was told the cinnamon roll is baked daily early and on site. I was very disappointed as it was not hot, (semi-warm) and it tasted dry and stale, not fresh. So for me even though I love the servers, the whole experience for me was less than I expected... Sorry.

There was nothing specific that I noticed and HIGHLY enjoyed. I was all around pretty happy with everything but nothing was special compared to my other resturaunt experiences.
