The staff were friendly. But the service was ultra-slow. We waited forever for our simple dinners, the wine never came, (at least it wasnt on the bill) then we waited forever for a tab and finally had to walk to register to request tab to pay and leave. What was surprising about this was that the restaurant wasn't even busy! it was near empty compared to last time we were in when the service and timing were so much better. The waitresses were eating in the central station while they were on duty...this practice is not fair to staff or customers. The menu also is disturbing with all the multiple "add-ons" for an extra dollar for this and an extra couple of dollars for that. Seems tacky. Also, the customer copy of the bill (credit card voucher) is a summary without itemization which I do not appreciate. We like Shari's much better last time we were in, but I cannot remember how long ago that was. This felt like all new staff to us -- friendly and charming, but s l o w.

We have been to this Shari's location many times over many years. The last several years the service has been terrible. You have to wait a while to be seated, then wait to have your order taken, then wait (sometimes over 30 minutes) to receive your food. The servers argue across the dining room, they don't check back to ask how your meal is/check your drinks, basically ignoring the customer. This last visit, my husband ordered a skillet breakfast and upon receiving it, it may as well have been a child's plate serving. Did he say anything? No. Why not? because it would not have made any difference. The manager was busy, busy ignoring customers. It was not a pleasant experience at all. You would at least expect a friendly smile once in a while, but all you see are grumpy faces and all you hear are groanings about this, that or the other. I seriously doubt we would be returning any time soon.

Mexi Skillet includes "sausage". The material representing sausage was extremely bland, without normal seasoning, no texture, highly resembles bologna without paprika. Primary sausage ingredient seems like powdered milk. Meat ingredient, if any, is not identifiable. After presentation, I thought "sausage" pieces were mushroom slices. Waitperson described "mushrooms" as sausage. I set many of those pieces aside and could see they were probably hand sliced from a link. If a link, the material is unrelated to all other meat counter presentations of real sausage. I have patronized Shari's since its beginning, in Oregon. I have met Shari. Shari's needs to maintain consistent excellence from its commissary. Thank you.

It took 30 minutes to acknowledged and then only when we initiated the contact. We were seated immediately after that, but when our drink order came, my diet pepsi tasted like rootbeer. My husband ordered a pork nachos meal. It came with avocado , instead of guacamole as listed, there was little pork and it was stone cold. since this is free pie Wednesday, when we ordered our pie (banana cream), they were out of it. this isn't the first time being out of what we want has happened.The last time we dined there, it took three selections before finding an item they weren't out oif. We were comptd the my husband's meal, but were charged for his piece of pie. We had not been in this site for several months because of similar experiences, and we probably wont go back.

The attitude of our server wasn't all that great. Didn't check on us, and made us feel rushed. We felt as if we inconvenienced him by sitting in his section. Didn't even ask if we needed anything else before he processed our payment, we were planning on purchasing some pie but obviously that would have inconvenienced him to much

My friends and I wanted to have a good time and hang out, as it was a long time since we have been together. Autumn was very rude, when we asked for water she made it seem like she was irritated by what we wanted. There was no silverware, and again when we asked she seemed bothered by our question. I felt insignificant when an American couole sat right in front of us, as we are minorities, and she gave them such better service and attention than she did us. Highly dissatisfied, and will not return to this location.

The server was rude. She took a long time to get me a water. She didn't smile. it was more of a bad experience for my peers.

We could see two of our items sitting at the window while the third one was being cooked. By the time they came to us they were cold. The toast was under toasted and over buttered so it was somewhat soggy in the middle. They really need to take time and spread the butter all over the toast and not just in the middle.

The restaurant was not busy when we were seated. However, it took 32 min. to receive the senior pot roast and the BLT portion of a lunch trio. The BLT toast was cold. The server forgot to bring a milk with the meal (no biggie - happens often in restaurants), and although he promptly brought it when reminded, there was no apology. The person drinking coffee was asked once if a refill was wanted (before the meal came), but was not asked again when pie was served. The person having iced tea was never asked if a refill was wanted, although the glass was empty. The servers quickly leave the table not allowing the patron to ask. In addition, the restaurant was out of two menu items. We eat at other Shari's. We know our experience can be better.
