Shari's

Although I visit Shari's regularly, I was surprised at how long it took to get the check this time. There was a large party that arrived just as I was finishing my meal and waiting for the check, so I understand that may have been the issue. Otherwise, everything was fabulous as usual!!

Only complaint was food not hot.

Because of the taste of the grilled cheese.

It takes forever to pay at the cash register, the girl doesn't seem to know what she is doing

The manager that day did not smile once, she glared at you and didn't say one word to us not even to see how our food was. She is by far the most unfriendly person I have ever net besides the general manager here. They took away food we got often. It used to be busy in here all the time and now it's dead most of the time. I only come to this Sharis because of Candy and Angela, if it weren't for them I wouldn't come back. The are rock stars.

The new menus do not list everything offered. If you're having lunch, and the menu that comes up is for breakfast, then you have to wait until the waitress comes around, and request different menus (which also are only partial) and hope she can find the right ones, so ordering is delayed. If you didn't realize there are separate menus, or weren't aware of the missing items, you would have a very limited choice. I have always had good service at this restaurant and from this waitress in particular, but the menus are an annoyance, and she tells me there have been many complaints. I gather the menus are not a local choice, but one forced on them. Aside from that issue, the staff seemed a bit jumpy, and I gather they were dealing with a manager who was having an off day.

Rare to be highly satisfied

Actually, we were mostly highly satisfied with our overall experience. The waitress was more than obliging and friendly and went out of her way to please us

You no longer serve crepes for breakfast
