Shari's

The gentleman that greeted us and wrote our name on the wait list was a little gruff and complained about how busy the place was. It was Christmas and I understand it was busy, however an odd comment. The server was awesome, quick, friendly and hard working.

Very good service from Stephanie, we were pleased. Understand Shari tries to give the best deal for the price but on this cold morning outside, employees were unable to get the temperature inside warm enough. Two of the waitresses were shivering and trying to stay warm. Paper supplies were almost completely gone in the mess restroom. I told the employees so they could restock. Seemed employees were doing the best with what they were provided. Cafe was not very busy at the 8:30am hour.

After I sat myzelf, I was given a menu & waited about 10 minutes before someone asked for my order. Food was finally served but portion looked smaller on my plate. When I asked if this was a senior portion, I was told that this was not a senior portion but the size of the chicken was different. It was 1 hr & 15 minutes before I completed my dinner from entry.

like i mentioned in the earlir questions the sandwich was dry and toast cold

The portions are very small for the price and it is always so slow getting our food and checking out

The wait staff always seems spread too thin they seem preoccupied with getting to all the tables so, their attention is never on the table they are at. There is never a greeting when you arrive I always wonder if they are aware of my presence they kind of ignore the front door then all of sudden appear with menus and seat you On busy days like Sunday after church it's easy for people to cut in front of you and I don't like to be the one to notice I believe the host or hostess should be aware of the order the guests arrive. Depending on the experience of the hostess you will either be asked about beverages or not when seated then again depending on experience you will either receive them or not Shar's has a varied and interesting menu but the cooks seem slow and it usually a long wait to get your food

I would likely not go back only because it is out of our normal area. There's a Shari's nearby that we continue to go to. The hashbrowns were pretty dry and lacked flavor...maybe a little garlic butter or something to bind them together better...

The fish pieces were very small and usually a salad or slaw is included.The fish pieces were 2 bite pieces

One staff member was very outspoken about her dislike of other customers that had left. Where I do agree with her feelings toward them, I found it very inappropriate to be shouting it across the restaurant.
