Shari's continues to raise prices, while at the same time dropping menu choices and decreasing portion sizes. Also, for the health conscious, the lack of egg whites or egg beaters is ridiculous, after all, isn't it your goal to cater to people? The overhead fan are a climate and visual nuisance, when it is cold the fans exacerbate the coldness by forcing cold air on you. The movement of the fans also creates shadows on the table tops that are distracting and could cause vertigo. The long cushioned seating area with several tables is never well cleaned, especially under the tables, but many times on the cushioned seat itself.

Prefer not to be called 'hon'

The server, Gabriel, kept calling me 'hon'. I am over 70 years old and don't appreciate a youngster, my grandson's age, calling me 'hon'. Ma'am would have been better, tho I'd rather he hadn't called me anything rather than call me 'hon'. I didn't like it, am not used to it and will be using a different Shari's in the future. I don't like to make waves, so I didn't mention it to him.

We did not receive our bill until we asked for it - seemed to be short on waiter/waitreses - and to check out we did not receive an itemized receipt - person takingour payment seemd to be in such ahyurry and went off before we could ask for the itemized copy.

My wife orders soup with a side of toast-- she finished her soup before the toast came--the toast was hot when it came so it seems as if the kitchen did not get it done on time

I feel as though the prices are inflating for the amount of food we received.

Shari's was not overly crowded and there were plenty of tables and booths open, but we spent 25 minutes waiting for a booth. Our server, Rae has very cheerful and helpful throughout our time and provided our every request. Our order took more time than necessary. We noticed a couple who had been seated after us, had received their order long before ours came out. Too much time is spent by one person at the register dividing her time between hostess duties and cash register duties. Divide the duties between two people and you wouldn't loose so many customers. I saw at least 6 people leave because of the delays.

We had to wait awhile to get table. I think this Shari's was understaffed or experiencing some kind of problem. I have never had to wait this long.

It took an abnormally long time to recieve a small cup of Honey Mustard, but the waiter was kinda cute

The overhead fans were blowing cool air, had to leave our jackets on. Food service came slow.

Our Puyallup location has been remodeled and looks fabulous-so the atmosphere is much improved, the service has always been fabulous and the food value very good!
