The manager at the Willow's Pond #177 is very unfriendly and not customer oriented. Our visit was at 11:15 a.m. so it was between breakfast and lunch crowd. We had a party of two and requested a booth due to back problems with your chairs at the tables. She said we would have to wait until a small booth was vacant (everyone in those booths had just started eating). There were two of the large booths vacant. I asked if we could have one of those. She said "No - those are for parties of 4". For the next hour those booths remained vacant while we had to sit at a table. This manager needs some lessons in working with the public. Our waitresses were very nice and gave us good service. Keep the wait staff and get rid of this manager.

I like the cozy family like atmosphere better than any Denny's or ihop, however this time my food took a little too long and didn't taste as great

I signed up for rewards and when I went to used it, it was expired, I signed up so I could have a free pie slice for my birthday and the checkout people were slightly rude and said, NO it is expired. There should be a way to have a sign up slice of pie for a month not 2 WEEKS. WELCOME is NOT WELCOMING............. It does not make you want to come back. for a low cost of $4.49 your hostess killed the thought of returning. SAD because we are regulars for 11 years and I just signed up for rewards, VERY DISHEARTENING. they never called the manager just said NO there is nothing we can do. Is $4.49 worth losing regular return people

We ordered the Bavarian sandwich. The menu and accompanying photo misrepresented the end product, as the photo emphasized a large portion of pastrami and barely noticeable hamburger patty. We barely received any pastrami and the hamburger patty was the predominate meat portion. Very dissatisfied with the sandwiches. The french fries were very good however. We will not order a Bavarian sandwich again. The preparation of this disappointing meal took about 1/2 hour with a restaurant only about 1/4-1/3 full. Overall, a very poor showing for Shari's.

The service at this restaurant is the worst I've seen in my 70 years. Not only this visit but that is the way it's been for years. There is not a person there that is motivated. They all walk around like they have all day. This restaurant needs a good manager that knows and wants to give good service and pushes others to do the same. It doesn't matter if there are 3 customers in the restaurant or 15 the service is the same. I've been there in both circumstances

At 10:19 PM, there was not a large patronage present. It took quite some time to be greeted, seated and presented with a menu. When the server finally made an appearance, he was knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. The service was great. We did have a sugar ant walk across the table. The premises appear clean. This is something that could happen to the best establishment.

the server was very attentive and polite but when asked about herbal teas was not sure and forgot to get back to me, I observed him eating behind the counter while waiting for orders to come up. I felt this very unsanitary and a health issue. It also took a long time to get the to go order we added to our order. The waiter was busy at the register ringing up other guests while our to go order sat in the window. e got up from our table and walked up to the waiter to pay for our check and told him that our order was in the window ready. I had to ask fro a to go bag. I feel that this location was under staffed and this is why these problems existed. The waiter should be given a break so he can sit down and eat his meal. This is not the first time I 've visited this location and they were under staffed. At another time they asked the same waiter if he could go wash dishes because the dish washer did not show to work. They were also very busy on that day I visited Sharis. I will continue to visit but feel that the staffing issue needs to be looked at. I'm sure if I was a employee of the state board of food safety, I would have reported it . But I feel that every one deserves a chance.

The staff appeared to be busy but the store was not. They were not very friendly and did not appear to be customer oriented. I have worked and managed in this industry for many years and I was very disapointed in the over all attitude of the staff in regard to how they treat their clientele. It was not a warm or inviting feeling. It was more as if the patrons were an inconvenience. I felt as though the staff was not there to make anyone feel welcome, but to do the job as short and with the least amount of interaction as possible. I observed a sraff member pick up all of the drink glasses from a nearby table and take them all back to the waitress line to refill them. Why would this be exceptable. In this day and age of restaurant contamination the possibilities are endless. I don't want someone elses saliva on the fountain that I or my family would be being served from. Our food was hot and appealing to the eye and palate. Our server did bring our extra napkins. She was not rude.
