Shari's

I just expect Shari's to have good food, prompt service and fair prices. If I had bad food,poor service and high prices I would not return to Shari's.

Food basically not hot. Other wise food good. and plentiful.

My "Steel cut Oatmeal" was not fresh, it had congealed somewhat; I broke it up and ate it. The flavor was great, the berries were very good. I my opinion, you can't go wrong with "Steel cut Oatmeal", except when it is really, really old.

Once my food was delivered I did not see my server again until I finally got her attention when I was ready to leave. My food was not very hot but ate it anyway. I would have been nice to let the server know this.

i wasn't really blown away by my experience. it was satisfactory.

Food was not hot

I ordered The Breakfast Standard and got French Toast and extra scrambled eggs instead of the bacon. The eggs were good but the French Toast was undercooked. The slices were grilled only on one side and the back side (which was face down) was raw and soggy. I notified the covering waitress about it and showed her. It felt like I was being judged "picky" by sending it back and asking for a replacement. It took a while for the replacement but when I did receive it, it was FULLY cooked and tasted good although a little greasy. It was not my best Shari's experience. I have gotten this meal several times and this is the first problem I have ever had. I was there around 2pm and it was not busy so no excuses. :-(

The food was great but for the second time the coffee was only slightly warm.

Always given great care by the waitress

Overall it was a great trip to Shari's, though I never quite feel that the food is worth the amount charged. The staff is always great, the atmosphere is always great, always clean, always fast, etc. Just value for money not so much. Aside from the cost of the soup and the pie, that's fine.
