Shari's

Seated promptly, no problems. However, sat in the rear by the kitchen back door. This location was busy and I think we may have been forgotten. We ordered the lunch special which was a turkey sandwich, a cup of soup and a slice of pie. I also ordered a side of fries.Our food came about 30 minutes later without the fries. The turkey was on wheat and I mentioned to the waiter that I though it came on chibatta and he said he wasn't sure. The turkey does in fact come on chibatta, I have no idea why this time it was on wheat. The fries never came. After we finished our food, I inquired about the fries and told they were coming out soon. We had been in the restaurant 45 minutes at this time. I saw our waiter a bit later and told him to just cancel our fries and we'd take the pie to go due to having to get back home to the sitter. We told the cashier we noticed that the menu said the lunch special said it was served in 15 minutes or less or "it's on us," and we waited 30 She credited the meal and we only paid for drinks. She was very sweet and I totally understand with the volume of business at the time, I would return. Turkey and pie were delicious and Joel was a good server.

Just too busy for only having one server in our area. Our child's meal came to the table without the hashbrowns on the plate and it was obvious that something was missing since the plate was very empty without them. There were no garnishes on any of the plates at all. Ketchup wasn't placed on table prior to order coming so we once again has to wait.

The place was really nice and clean. We were seated right away as it was not busy. My issue is the waitress either has no experience or just didn’t care. We “had” to ask for ketchup for the fries and burger. She never came back to ask if we were happy with the food, she didn’t come back to see if we needed refills on drinks, to see if wanted dessert. We got tired of waiting for the check so we just went to the counter to pay. Basically after giving us the food she just didn’t bother with us. I firmly believe in tipping according to service, I specifically wrote on the receipt “No Tip!!!!!” I like Shari’s but would probably not go back to this particular one. If I did, I would ask to not be seated in her section. It’s horrible customer service but it’s definitely Not Good customer service.

The waitress was not friendly and had no personality. We waited some time before being seated. We waited for a long time before our order was taken. When finally brought to us it was cold and it was wrong. We eat here probably 4 times a month. This is the first time we have had such terrible service. There was 1 person at register and she was also seating. She was also the waitress. Said other waitress was no break. Noticed another person behind counter but wasn't doing anything. There were other people in restaurant. Lot of talking and messing around by the staff. We were so dissatisfied that we did not leave a tip. Highly unusual for us. Just felt like the whole visit was not up to Shari's usual. If we don't complain you wouldn't know. WE are longtime customers and are used to good service.

Steak too raw. To too long to recook it. Hash browns not fully cooked. Pie still frozen when served.

Our waitress took our order, promised to bring fresh brewed decaf coffee. Never came back to see if our food was okay. Walked by our booth many times, but never acknowledged us. Had to ask another waitress for the decaf coffee. Waited a long time before another waitress asked if we wanted pie. Had to wait for a while for the ticket to pay for our food. We have eaten at Shari's Cafes many times. The first waitress never came back to check on us, and we were not told that she would not be our waitress. We felt that was sort of rude, as we were left sitting a long time.

Chips on nacho order were quite stale tasting & did not have fresh crunch

Took to long to place the order and 20 minutes to get the order. They were not busy. When I received my food it was luke warm and the sweet potato fries were all stuck together and barely warm. Waitress offered to cook another, but we did not have time to wait around again. No manager appeared to on the premises, none came by anyway. Waitress did not check back with us until I was almost finished. Waitress offered a free piece of pie for our wait, but did not offer to compensate for the status of my food. I normally do not have any problems when I go there, but I did this time, to the point that I had to complete this survey.

The meal was good but the ribs on my plate were not only tiny but were all bone, no meat. Shameful!
