WOW--we patronized this Sharis for years and were highly pleased with the level of service/friendliness of servers. We are now retired and haven't been back until yesterday. The entire staff apparently has turned over--saw not one recognizable face Everyone was grumpy. And, we had to ask twice for coffee. And, no refills. And, they mixed our check with someone else. And, it took what seemed forever to get it straightened out.

Took 10 minutes to even be greeted upon entering. Plenty of staff saw us, but none seated us or even talked to us. There was also a line of people waiting to pay, and no one attending. Finally manager came out to help, but only served the people waiting to pay, not seating us even though we had been waiting the longest. There were plenty of open and clean tables, so we asked if we could seat ourselves but the manager said no and made us keep waiting. He finally sat us at a booth that was dirty just seconds ago and was still wet from being just cleaned. Server took another fifteen minutes just to greet us, and rolled his eyes when we were thinking about what sides to order since he brought us a new menu that we hadn't seen before.

My husband and I are frequent customers. We visited 3/14 and expected it to be busy, but the trainee (Can I put in a good word for her?) was far more attentive (albeit, with a clear case of nerves) than the server, who was a bit rude. My husband asked for no tomatoes on his burger. I asked for dressing on the side of my salad. Not only did the kitchen fail to comply in BOTH cases, but the server half-apologized, saying it was going to take a long time to remake our food as the kitchen was so busy. Husband being diabetic, we decided to eat it anyway. I also heard server and manager (LOUDLY) listing off all the pies they ran out of. Apparently, half the pie list was already out before we came in. My coconut cream pie was also frozen to the point of being ice cream.

I came to your restaurant today to eat then have a piece of Black Forest Cheesecake. That was the deciding factor on my choice of place to eat. You did not have any because someone did not pull them out so they could be thawed and prepared. I came in at almost 2pm and they were not done. Also my hashbrowns were not cooked fully. please remind your cooks to cook them on both sides, not just brown them on one and flip them onto a plate.

Jeff. Point blank, he is one of the rudest people I have come into contact with in a very long time. I find it hard to believe you have someone like him working there. If he hates his job as much as he seems like, he should work somewhere else where he doesn't have to have contact with other people. His customer service is HORRIBLE.

Our server was curt, she spoke so fast we couldn't understand her very well. She set the coffee pot on the table pretty hard after filling our cups and walked away without asking if everything was good. She forgot several requests that we made, another server helped us. There's more, but I'll stop there.

We are regulars, most of the servers know us by name. Both of our orders had problems. I never got my bacon, had to have it taken off the check. My hashbrowns were only browned slightly on one side and not on the other. My wife asked for no cheese on her omelet, had heavy cheese. She asked for dry toast, it was soaked in butter. Had to ask for more coffee twice before we could get more. Tried to tell our server and he did not seem to care. New manager was complaining so loud about the fact that she was doing to much for her servers that we could hear it. Tried to ask Loren (another server) for more coffee was ignored. Since Peggy left as manager service and accuracy of orders had dropped. Wait times seem longer than normal. People waiting while tables are sitting dirty.

Seated at 6:40 PM on a Friday night. Went for the prime rib. Placards on the table advertise available from 4 to 10. Was told that they were out of prime rib after already ordering a glass of wine to go with the meal. It was not that busy to have it not available so early in the evening and no mention of it prior to seating or ordering.

The crust was soggy, food bland, fruit not ripe, could not eat. Sour dough bread was very cheap, just like plain white bread. Really was one of the worse meals I have had in a while

Our usual server Loren is the ONLY reason I keep coming back weekly. There is nothing served other than a dry English muffin that is not contaminated with soy which my system does not tolerate. I would love to have an omelet, stuffed hash browns but soy causes me to be ill within 40 minutes. Water in the restroom is always icy cold.
