Wife ordered decaf coffee. After 15 minutes and no coffee, server appears and says he "forgot" to put any coffee in the brewing machine, so no coffee to be had. Had "pulled pork" sandwich - which was mostly some kind of stringy vegetable matter, not pork. Taste was AWFUL - not edible. Server just disappeared after the coffee debacle, but was to be found yukking it up with two other guys at a back table. Stood waiting at least 10 minutes at the cash register to pay. All in all, a miserable experience. Never again.

I ordered soft scrambled eggs and they came hard scrambled. Not what I ordered. The chicken fried steak came with sausage gravy which made the whole thing taste like cheap pork. I should have sent it back. I did not see sausage gravy listed on the menu for this item. For a $16 breakfast ticket I expected more, to get what I ordered and not something on the plate that ruined the dish. Keep the incentive, I probably will not be back for a long time

Steak was overcooked, next one was brought out undercooked, final brought out and the steak was in a bowl. Table next to me sat uncleared for over an hour. I normally get great service at this restaurant not this time.

People who came in after we ordered, ordered, and were served before our food arrived. We had a small order...a Belgian waffle, nothing else; a strawberry cannoli, nothing else. The excuse we got was "there's only one waffle iron" and "only one cook and he tends to stay in one spot and forget the other area." The waiter was harried and other waitresses wandered around slowly and never offered to help him. The manager delivered the waffle (cold) and 5 minutes later, the other order. The manager cleaned the table and seated us but never asked if we wanted a drink. When we were ready to leave, we had to just go to the front because we didn't get a check. The check showed 2 coffees instead of 1 coffee and a hot chocolate. He went to change it and I joked that the coffee was probably cheaper. I complained to him about our experience (which he already knew) he finally said he would comp us our drinks because of what happened. Never an apology, only excuses.

I am staying at the Quality Inn next door for business in the area. This was the third day in a row I have eaten dinner here. The manager was sitting in the corner all 3 days on his computer. He speaks very loudly having personal conversations with his staff. For some reason I have been seated in the back all 3 days. The first day I heard him say "we finally got Truck" and that we have been out of pie for days. Yesterday I asked for chocolate pie and was told they don't have any. Today I never once was offered a refill on my drink and once again ordered chocolate pie. After waiting for several minutes for my pie and check I hear over my should from a woman, just tell them we don't have any chocolate pie. I then had to wait fro the waitress to change my bill because she had already put it on.

Our waiter was not very friendly and seemed very annoyed when we asked if a particular soup was available and a particular type of drink was available. The problem was not that those items were not available. It was more the attitude of the waiter. We felt that she did not want to be bothered to ask if certain items were available that often are on our previous visits. This is not how we are usually treated.

Server originally brought 2 luke warm coffees to the table and said she would replace them when fresh coffee was ready. She didn't. Only after my guest asked her for fresh coffee and cups be brought to the table as she was scuping up the empty dishes, did she finally serve the fresh coffee she had promised earlier.

Nobody at to greet me when I walked in, employees saw me at the front but no one relayed that to the person that was the hostess. Two groups' orders were taken before me by the server in my section even though I was seated before them. My order came out correctly but I didn't get a drink (water initially or what I had ordered) until I asked the server for it about half way through my meal when I saw the server gabbing with the manager on duty. No one ever came back to ask about my meal or was there anything I needed. When I was checking out the manager didn't ask if everything was all right or how was my meal. All in all, the experience was unpleasant from the manager on duty on down. This Shari's is right next to a hotel and it would seem that they feel that they don't need any standards here as they have a captive audience from the hotel. The tables look clean but have been sticky, the staff seem to be indifferent about their jobs or the customers and the management would seem to have very few if any quality standards. Not my favorite place and I've eaten at several Sheri's.

The waitress was very distracted and absentminded. Forgot refill on my drink, took 15 min to get salad/soup, main orders were completely wrong items, kept excusing it by saying it was "very busy" when the shop wasn't super-crowded. You had the feeling she just was not paying attention or didn't care. The manager intervened and took over for the inattentive waitress after overhearing us and took care of the incorrect orders, but that was another wait, and no offer of compensation for the inconvenience was given. We understand Free Pie Night is a little busy, but the waitress's carelessness was a bad impression.

First visit in 15 years-daughter-in-law told us it was not like the 'old' Shari's and she was right!!! The pie was not even close to what we had 15 years ag0-definitley not baked locally; just ordinary commercial pie.
