Shari's

Pie choice was not filled correctly. We ordered sugar free marionberry pie and were served mixed berry pie. Since I'm not sure of sugar content of both, good thing we are not extremely sensitive to sugar. Restaurant was very busy due to pi day, not enough staff to get tables cleaned quickly, long wait to pay bill. Our server Matthew was excellent despite heavy workload. He was friendly, checking back with us as he went by, keeping water glasses filled. Vegs were cold, salmon was dry although it had really good flavor. Baked potato was delicious. We haven't been to Shari's in a long time because we don't eat out very often. Still we will be going back in the future.

the food itself tasted good and the temperatures were okay, but the coffee served in a carafe didn't adhere to the level of quality of coffee that I'm used to. It's not as a customer a privilege to be served a one-stop coffee serve ... it'd have been more satisfactory if the customer can ask the waitress for a new fresh coffee ... maybe I'd have liked an espresso and then a latte. When the customer has to decide upfront it limits the (coffee) experience

Family friendly.

The menu didn't note the type of the meat clearly. My friend couldn't eat beef, but he accidentally order a meal that he thought is pork, but it is actually beef. Sometime the menu only write rib, but didn't write whether is pork rib or beef rib.

When I went to check out I informed the young gentleman taking our bill that I had a free piece of pie on my card and I wanted to use it. He said Ok, Not bothering to look at the bill to see if there was a piece of pie all ready on it, He had to get the manager to come and override the charge on my CC. after I had to explain to him several times that the pie was all ready on the bill. He did not bother to look at my reward card to see if there was any rewards available on it. It was very possible that he was a new employee. It took several minutes for him to get the manager and get it straight. Otherwise our visit was highly satisfactory.

Server delivered our food to next table. When they called him back for their order being wrong he did not have it redone for us.

Coffee refills were a bit slow but this is unusual for this reataurant and for this server.

Just that on this occasion my steak seemed dryer than I liked - no juiciness. Not a game changer, has not been a problem in my past visits to Sharis.

Cold soup. Shari's sells cold soup. This is over 10th time potato soup cold. Presentation sloppy.
