Shari's

Server seated us, brought us drinks and then disappeared. After waiting for 15-20 minutes I had to get up and go get another server to take our order. Also wished they had a bigger soup selection. Only one kind was available.

We had the 2 for $20 special and neither meal came up to the usual Shari's standard of appearance and flavoring. (Fish and Chips, and Country Fried Steak)

Place was full of noisy teenagers - which is ok, but we were seated right next to them and the kids kept going in and out and standing right in front of us. It would have been fine if we had been seated farther away.

The waitress took our drink order, returned with 2 of the 3 drinks we ordered but never came back with the iced tea then we waited 15 minutes for her to take our order, another waitress came by and took the orders but was very rude about it, when we went to pay it took 20 minutes for her to figure out the bill, she kept overcharging us I told her that but she wouldn't listen finally the manager came and fixed the bill. The waitress that was so rude was Miriam.

We were sat on the side we don't really like. Our menus were wet and sticky. The waitress was odd. The food was just barely cooked.

1. it took way too long to be seated 2. when I ordered the salad I asked for honey mustard dressing - it did not come with the salad. I had to ask the manager for it and he gave me a tiny little bit that did not satisfy me 3.food took way too long to come - I waited 40 minutes - unacceptable 4. the cashier did not know if Sheri's gave a military discount

When I received my check I was charged $1.00 for pie. I ordered a piece of pumpkin pie, it was the same as your classic pies, but the waiter took a dollar off because it was not a piece of a classis pie, your promotion says a free piece of pie and does say only classic pies, therefore I don;ty think you should a $1.00 for any piece of pie.

I ordered Prime Rib, MEDIUM RARE, with a baked potato. The meat arrived WELL DONE and TOUGH, and the potato had been wrapped in foil, rendering it STEAMED rather than BAKED. And although the meat was OVERDONE, the potato could have been cooked a few more minutes. I was ravenous, so I chose to accept the meal rather than send it back.

I received my food and it was cold. My order was also wrong. I informed my really nice waitress and she very promptly took it back to the kitchen to have it re-made. Unfortunately by the time I got my "corrected" order I wasn't even hungry.. Overall it took one hour for me to get my order. It was freezing cold in the restaurant as well, very uncomfortable. I like Shari's but am hesitant to recommend it as they don't have enough staff to cover the floor and customers end up having to wait extra long for orders, checks, and general service.

You change the menu and took off the chefs salad which I liked very much and would have ordered that and also there wasn't a senior breakfast menu. I don't like the new menu for seniors
