I AM A 74 YEAR OLD WOMAN AND WAS CONSISTENTLY CALLED "YOUNG LADY" BY THE MANAGER AND "SWEETIE" BY THE SERVER. AT BEST, I CONSIDER THIS PATRONISING AND WOULD PREFER THE MORE BUSINESS-LIKE "MADM" OR "MISS."

We were seated right away and then just sat there waiting for our server before they came over to our table to greet us and offer a drink to us. We then placed our drink and food order right away. Our drinks came in a resonance amount of time but we waiting 30 minutes for just a portion of our food (soup and house salad). We still had to wait for our half of grilled cheese sandwich and omlette which took another 20 minutes. Very unhappy with the service. We asked to speak with the manager and have been waiting now almost 10 minutes for the manager to come to our table.

Christmas night: 40 minutes waiting to take our order[very busy], when we received our order it was all cold except the onion rings, they were warm. We both had prime rib. My wife's was a nice cut except it and the potatoes and gravy were cold. My cut and food was also cold plus out of my cut I think there were about 7-8 small pieces and the a jus was also just warm.. I am sure I will mention to my friends the food that we received. We brought my wife's home an d nuked it and shared it there.. I have already informed my friends of the Great Thanksgiving meal we received at the Sharis on 164th in Vancouver. That was a terriffic meal.

the hostess greeted me promptly. I told her that I wanted to get an order to go, she directed me to the counter. I was at the counter, in plain view of several servers who were visiting with each other and cutting pies, for over five minutes. Another gentleman came in and sat at the counter and was acknowledged by two servers within 30 seconds. When the server who apparently was assigned to the counter told him that she would be with him in just a minute, I loudly said to him "don't count on it". The hostess then approached me and said that my order apparently wasn't ready, I told her that it was probably because no one had taken my order yet. She then attempted to place my order. We have dined at Shari's often for the past twenty years and I have never been this dissatisfied. We will not be back to this Shari's again.

I was there for lunch with my two aunts. We were not greeted nor acknowledged by any staff member. The hostess seated the customer before us and then disappeared. A waitress seated the next guest and then too never came back. After sometime a third party asked if we would like to be seated. I think this rude and not the service we expected. Our waitress was never nice and served us efficiently and courteously.

WE came with a coupon that was not clear. Even the workers were unable to explain it. Not a busy night yet it took 10m minutes to even have our waiter to our booth Manager was unable to explain the coupon. It was a comedy of errors. Our waiter was nice yet appeared a bit clueless. I was honestly amazed at all that was wrong. My grandson ordered a an omelet that was FILLED with onions that were three inches long!! Seriously. He ordered it with pancakes and there was a French fry on the plate along side of the pancake? Although the food was edible, it was so not what we are used to eating. Service was way below okay. Had to ask for beverages, no dressing with the turkey dinner, had to ask for cranberries, turkey was substandard. The vegies were okay. Asked for a list of the side dishes and it took several minutes for the waiter to find them. Even the manager was not clear what the coupon meant by "choose from 11 side dishes" I will never return to Shari's or recommend it to anyone.

the coffee tasted like it had sit over night. for 10.95 I got one peice of sauasge toast that had a larger clump of butter need did not even melt eggs like rubber the hash brown were ok. My husbands breakfast was the same large clump of butter unmelted in the middle of his toast his omelette hardly had any spinach in it. it was the worst breakfast at Sharis we Have ever had will not ever go back to that Sharis. The Best Sharis in Vancouver,Wa is the one on SE 164 Ave. The Worst Is the one on Thrusten Way by Vancouver Mall.
