Shari's

My wife and daughter wanted eggs benedict. My wife ordered hers and asked if my daughter could get a half order. She said yes and did her order. The waitress failed to tell us the price of the half order. $9.49 for 1/2, $10.99 for full. For a $1.50 I would have purchased the full. I had fish and chips. The fish was greasy.

Six of us met following a meeting, arriving at different times. Each of us asked about the Breakfast Challenge and the waitress gave us the rules/requirements (2 breakfasts purchased on separate days in the month of April would result in a $5 credit on our Shari's card). So several of us ordered breakfasts. Upon payment and receiving our Cafe Club printout we saw that none of us had received credit for the Breakfast Challenge. The restaurant staff then told us that the "computer randomly picks the winners and that not all guests are credited." This smells strongly of "bait and switch" since we were not told in advance, when we asked about the special, that there was a random pick. I would be happy to supply my receipt and Cafe Club printout.

We both ordered the shrimp omelette. The picture on the menu shows lots of bay shrimp inside and two large shrimp on top. Ours came with tiny pieces of cut up bay shrimp inside and two tiny bay shrimp on top. Also there was a few sprinkles of cheddar cheese on top and couldn't really tell if there was cheese inside. Also I ordered an English muffin and only got a 1/2 of one!!! We were very disappointed with our food.

Steak was over cooked, chewy. Loaded Hashbrowns made wrong at first. Service was very very slow.

The place is filthy dirty and the food is terrible. I can't drink the coffee it is so bad.

The water cup and silverware had food on them.

New staff hired in the last month, several, don't know the menu, forget your specific requests and ignore you by looking away and avoiding eye contact when your section waitress leaves your section.

First the steaks were cold when they reached the table. We had to send them back to be heated up. Of course heating them up changed them from Medium Rare to Medium not so Rare. The waitress was busy So I had to track her down to get the problem resolved. Second, there was a piece of thin plastic on the steak knife when my wife went to use it. I brought it to the attention of a passing waitress and recommended the dishwasher pay closer attention. She said she would then went about serving etcettera and it appeared she tossed the plastic film in the trash w/o mentioning it to anyone else.

It's been along time since I've stopped at shari's. For. Some reason a breakfast sounded good for dinner. It was nice to see they've changed the menu it's just to bad the quality of the food is not so great.i ordered the classic breakfast and the bacon was so greasy and over cooked like it was cooked then let sit in its own grease all day until recooked and served! So gross! The toast was cold like maybe they cooked it way before the breakfast and it looked like someone ate most of the eggs before I did! My husband ordered the fa Tata and it was OK his toast was burnt! My daughter order the classic also and the same thing burnt food greasy bacon cold toast! Then you see the cooks playing and throwing food in the kitchen and eating makes you wonder what really goes on in there!

I went to Sharis almost frequently because of there wide menu choices. it pleased everyone in my family even the picky eaters. a couple days ago not so much. there was barely any choices for the dinner section. between the flavorless meal i had, and overcharging for my soft drink( All ice, and maybe ounces of soda and no free refills) I probably wont go to Sharis for while. I have turned off the switch for sharis.
