I asked for my Sirloin steak medium well done. I received barely cooked. The waitress returned the steak for additional cooking. It came back not much more cooked than the first time.

The experience, thru no fault of anyone that I can ascertain, was bland. As well, the payment processing system spent quite a while rebooting, so my friend and I were unable to leave, and the server was left with a sort of awkward vibe (as were we).

We went specifically to get Cuban sandwiches. At 3 p.m. cafe was not busy but food took longer to get than in the past at that time. Received pastrami rather than pork on our sandwiches. As we were investigating the ingredients the person who served us (not our server) noticed and came immediately back to the table and realized that it was not the right ingredient for the Cuban. She said they had a new cook and she would correct the cook and get new sandwiches fired off immediately. It took awhile to get the new ones, as I would expect for a new cook. I know all items are made to your specifications, but the meats were reversed, and one did not match the other sandwich in the order the items were put in them. Doesn't bother me, but I know you like consistency. That server handled the situation well. Our server did not check back at all after food was brought. My side salad had too large of pieces of spring mix that I had to cut down into 3 bite-size pieces. Green salad should be in bite-size pieces.

Took long to be seated. They put us next to the only people in the building vs somewhere else, then put the most annoying people right behind us when we wanted some peace and quiet.

One of the first things when greeted that is brought to the table is water. If I get a glass of water with someone else's lip imprints or lipstick I will be weary of anything else brought to the table. That is down-right gross, disgusting, and unsanitary. Even if it takes looking at your glasses before serving to make sure that they are clean then do it. Don't gross out your customers. On a different topic; Your prices are way way too high considering the quality and portions. You can go to any number of really phenomenal restaurants in Portland or Seattle and pay the same amount. In other words besides convenience there is no drive to ever return to such offerings.
