We are regulars at our local Shari's and we love our server Erica but this visit was awful. The food took over 30 mins to come out and parts of our meal were still getting dragged. By the time everything was finally out, some of the food was cold, some were hot. The food was prepared wrong. No seasoning on our vegetables and loaded mash look like it was just topped with whatever the chef could find. All the fried food tasted like old fry oil. I didn't eat anything but my fiancee tried to eat whatever he could manage because we ordered a lot of food and we still had to pay for our nasty meal. We've ordered this meal in the past and it was absolutely amazing. Maybe it was the chef that was working today but it was so awful I do not want to come back ever again which is sad because we love Erica so much. Overall it just sucks that we have to pay for our crappy meal and still go get another meal after our experience. Again though, Erica tried her best to make it such a good experience but the terrible food out weighed her amazingness.

The Smoked Salmon Omelette was absolutely delicious. A tiny piece of butter wrap inside the Smoked Salmon was unexpected. Fortunately, the red lettering on the butter wrap caught my attention. The other half of Smoked Salmon Omelette taken home for lunch was quite satisfying until the unpleasant surprise of two small and narrow pieces of plastic strips inside the white creamy filling. Although, this wasn’t the usual 5 Stars Shari’s dining experience, the waitress gave us excellent service, the atmosphere was pleasant and the window view of snow flurries was beautiful. It’s been an unforgettable anniversary celebration.

The resteraunt was not busy. We ordered our meals and then were told they were out of the soup. Then we waited for almost 40 minutes to get our orders. The Prime Rib dip I ordered the bread was burnt so bad the meat tasted like charcoal. The sweet potato fries were also way over done. I only had a bite of 1/2 of my sandwich and no fries. My girlfriends fish and chips, the chips were cold. Then we sat there for almost 15 minutes for anyone to check on us. The server asked if we wanted our meals redone and I said, we’ve already waited for 55 minutes, no thank you.

There was a problem with a gift card and when my daughter went back to ask what happened she was told to dispute the charges with the card company as they couldn't help with what the charges were. I'm fair with customer service but when the manager shows and counts the receipt over and over again (I know how to count) and doesn't fix or try to fix the problem but say dispute the charges I'm not ok with that customer service. I'll never go there nor recommend any one for that matter to step in thar place. They need to work on customer service at all costs!

Heard your company was offering free breakfast to Veterans. As a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran I went and ordered breakfast. When I received my check I asked the waitress if they were participating in the free breakfast for Veterans? She told me I had to order a specific menu item to receive the free breakfast. Nothing I seen in the restaurant indicated a specific menu item for the free breakfast! I also felt the waitress was very rude and disrespectful! There should be clear and posted special menu to indicate what Veterans need to order, which I did not see!

I have eaten at Shari's Restaurants for a long, long time - I'm an older person, but one with my full capabilities and always in demand to help others, especially in the formation of their new businesses. Always - and I mean ALWAYS, I have been quite satisfied with the service and the food at the various Shari's I have frequented - even this one until my latest dining experience. The service and food on the evening of Oct 20, 2017 made for not only a worthless and completely unsatisfying dinner, but it rates the same as some not very good foreign dinners I have had in my many travels around the world for more than 30 years. This Shari's Farmington #151 needs someone from headquarters to find out why the food and service were abominable that evening. I do not think I will ever frequent that particular restaurant again, leaving me the only choice of eating at some of the other restaurants in this area and visits to Shari's other than this one. This wasn't just a few things that were not to my liking. This was a compete disaster and I've also never had such lousy service at any of the Shari's I ever frequented. That is my true experience.

The service was incredibly slow. We waited a very long time. The server did not know the menu. When we were finally ready to leave, the cashier and other server she asked to help could not process both our free birthday pie and $5 off from our Shari's card. That was the reason we chose Shari's, knowing we had discounts. We got the free pie, but not the $5 off. We have noticed that when the manager Scott is there, service at this Shari's is good. That's why we choose this one. However, without him there, it was as terrible as the others.

The food was very bland and didn't taste that great. My wife's quiche was lukewarm and did not taste very good. The fruit was even bland and she only ate half of the meal. My hamburger was also lukewarm and just not very good.

Our server literally told us she forgot about us, practically neber made sure we even had water while we were waiting for our food. She didn't offer any explanation to us as to why it was taking so long (took over 45 minutes for two burgers). I understand it was free milkshake night, and that's why we were there, but clearly there was not enough staff to handle the volume of customers. Despite it being practically empty on our side of the restaurant. We would have been happy to just have the occasional "Here's more water, we are working on your food!" But we didn't even get that. Ticket time was so long that my milkshake melted before I got my food, because I normally have my milkshake with my food.

This is my first time I have ever taken the time to express my dissatisfaction with service, ever. I am not a yelper, nor someone who complains, until today. The lady who claimed that she was a "manager" was also our server. She expressed loudly from acrsoo the way to her friends in the booth next to me that she was promoted to a "manager" after 2 weeks. She then proceeded to have a 5-10 minute conversation with her friends that was inappropriate and not something that I believe my 4 year old son should have to hear in a public restaurant, especially when it is a "manager." In the minutes I overheard the conversation, I heard about being in jail for violating a contact order with a baby's dad, spending months in prison. I heard another story about crazy roommates, someone stealing, another geting cut, and all ending with the same common denominator, JAIL! Again, this is a manager, all while not giving service or notice to anything else going on around her, and these are inappropriate for my son to hear, and me for that matter. The standard that I uphold is clearly not the same as trhe patrons there, but for the manager to carry on and share similar stories ruined it for me.
