The waiter was fast and efficient and the food was relatively fast, compared to past visits. My pasta was not too fresh and had the dull look of pasta that was sitting under a heat lamp while the rest of the order was being prepared. The others at my table were satisfied.

I have worked in the food industry for 2 years at a higher end Italian restaurant. My server, Talon, did 3 things which took me by surprise. First, he refilled my water glass promptly without me asking. Second he brought me an extra marinara sauce with my pick-your-own-sampler. I was going to ask for one but he brought a second before I even could! Third, he split the check for us again without us having to ask. He was genuinely friendly, very attentive, and most importantly anticipated our needs. I don't often go out to eat but when I do it's nearly always at Sharis or a local pub. Talon gave me the best service I have ever had in Corvallis including from high end restaurants. With my experience as a hostess, server, and assistant manager I have high expectations for my service because I know the kind of service I give and the kind I expect of my employees. I was highly impressed and pleasantly surprised with the top-notch service I received on an ordinary Saturday afternoon. I will be back, I will bring my friends, and I will always ask for him. If he hasn't recently received a raise now is the time. He is an asset to this company and is bringing customers (money) back in
