The nachos were too cold and the cheese had become too firm. Did not care for the canned mushrooms in my French dip and the ajus sauce was too strong, last time it was very weak like water!

Cherita, our server, may have had the best service I've ever gotten at a Sharis

Receiving our dinners seemed to take longer than normal. Also my wife and I each wanted a slice of pie but neither variety was available. We then asked for 2 other varieties which were available and we enjoyed them. We were very surprised and pleased when, as we were checking out and commented on not getting our first choice of pies, the clerk, 353699 Alberto, said we didn't need to pay for the pies since our first choices weren't available. That is exceptional service! The pies we ate were Coconut cream and Marionberry. We shared part of our pies and the combination was extremely good. We enjoyed our dinner at Shari's but the length of time before receiving our meals and not having our first pie choices made it a less than Highly Satisfying experience. The good food, friendly wait staff, and delicious second choice pies...and the unexpected cost break, will keep us coming back. Thank you

The syrup was not enough it seems we had to ask for another and the brought one.

The experience came from Cherita. She started by just smiling and greeting my daughter without her being assigned as our server. After being seated she came over big smile and her attention started with making sure our family was familiar with the product. She personalized the service and connected with us. When we were placing our order, my 7 yr old wanted hot wings. Instead of diverting from the product she suggest "I love my sauce on the side" as a mom it caught my attention her signal as spicy for that age. She did it so productive and my son loved the chicken and did not like the sauce. Thank you as we would have wasted a meal from the strong taste for him. Next I was torn wanting pie. All 3 I wanted they did not have. She brought a small sample of the Marion. Because of her service all of us ordered desert! Her above and beyond k owl edge of the product, business, and connecting with the customer increased Shari's bottomline. She was this way with all of her guests as we watched her service.

The waiter seemed a little confused - after taking the order had to return twice to ask how we wanted eggs, what choice of sausage vs bacon we desired, and what toast we wanted. I ordered coffee that was not served during the wait period; when the order was served I had to remind him that I was to get coffee. I sensed the waiter may have been new on the job. And the place was unusually crowded and busy due to a general power outage in major parts of the city. So certainly the entire staff was struggling to keep up. We are understanding of the circumstances, and don't view our criticisms as very important. But the experience was not quite up to the quality we have enjoyed (we typically are mid-morning clients and this was an evening visit).

We usually go to Sharis once every other week. I got to go this time, but my food smelt like cigarette smoke? Maybe the cook took a break and did not wash up before returning to work?
