Shari's

Lettie, my server, was absolutely wonderful. However, the kitchen took a while to get my order out, although I was not too bothered by it. My Cinnamon French Toast was as warm in the middle as I would have liked, and the bread was a lot more dense that I like. But overall, I had a great experience.

It just wasn't above satisfactory.

It wasn't bad. It was just okay.

Upon arrival only server visible was talking with two teenage girls about their new nail polish. Server did immediately acknowledge me and finally ended the conversation with two girls and then seated me. About 20 seconds more and I'd have walked out! Evidently I arrived during shift change so original server seated me and brought my coffee and advised me that another server would be waiting on me, but it was several minutes before other server arrived to take my order. Better coordination between servers during shift changes would be appreciated! Food prep and service was OK but portion size was smaller than I'd experienced with this order at other Shari's at other locations. Remainder of food service was fine. Upon departure server did not know how to enter check-in code from app on cash register but was able to obtain my discount by using my phone number. When will the servers be trained on how to enter app check-in codes???

The meat on my sandwich was dried out and lacked flavor.

My wife and I both ordered from the Honored menu. I believe that soup or salad are included in the Honored dinner selections. I didn't notice until we got home that we were both charged $1.99 for the cup of soup that I believe we should have received as included with our meals.

I got the low calorie half sandwich and cup of soup lunch special. The soup was the loaded baked potato soup, and it was delicious. The sandwich, however, was nothing special. No condiments, and didn't really seem like the entire lunch was worth $8. Plus, two cups of coffee for $5. Overpriced.

Coffee was barely warm. When asked for hotter coffee, it seemed to take a long time beyond brewing to receive it. New York steak appeared to be cooked right but was tough. Could have been OLD. Had to wait a long time for a soda refill. There seemed to be an atmosphere of confusion with the staff. We are regulars at this Sharis and this was not a normal night, maybe new help. The manager made it right with us and had a good attitude.

Its just the portion of the quiche its always to small and also I like my food a little more warm but it was ok I guess.
