Shari's

The green salad with berries nuts bacon and chicken was delicious. The chicken was sliced and put on top of the salad. This was different than the photo on the menu that showed a slice of grilled chicken beside the salad on the plate.

Overall the experience was pretty good, the purpose of our visit was to get a slice of pie, but when we ordered it the guy said they were completely out. I had chosen another pie and it was okay. Upon leaving the display had the pie my friend and I wanted, which made me upset. Otherwise everything was good.

It seemed like it to a long time for waitress to take our order.

Did not have the loaded potato soup. Very disappointing.

The portion of food somewhat a disappointment. The roast beef sandwich could be a little larger and the portion of fries extremely small. The taste and freshness of the food was excellent, but for the value it's not that it has to be outrageous in portions; just a little more generous.

Some of the food was blah, was served after other customers that arrived after us received their order, not enough checking back with the customer

I had the chicken strips and they were only fair. My partner's soup wasn't hot when served. I am really not complaining we were satisfied.

The meals were reasonably priced but the coffee and milkshakes were not.

It was a little cold in the restaurant, it was not cold outside. Too slow to refill drinks. They got pretty busy after the Cool April Night's show in Redding and did not have the payment counter covered and did not pick our check up from our seat.

Shari's is a great, family-friendly restaurant. On this particular visit, we were just not highly satisfied with our overall experience. My son ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and the sandwich came on oat bread. Not a huge ordeal to an adult, but to a child who was expecting white bread it was a little disappointing. The problem was resolved quickly and this in no way changes my view of the restaurant.
